I found an interesting Resident Evil 30 Day Challenge on the net,so I decided to share it.
I know that 30 Day Challenges are supposed to be answered day by day,but it might be best to aswer to all questions in one post ,because not all users use the forum daily.

Day 1: Favorite RE game
So far it's RE Remake,but from the looks of it, RER might take up the first spot(I've wathed over 20 reviews and I still can't get my hands on this game )

Day 2: Least favorite villain
Bitores Mendez - he wasn't a bad boss,but he had the personality of wooden plank.

Day 3: Do you like the movies? Why or why not?
I liked Damnation best out of the CG movies.
As for the action movies - I've watched the first 2 and they didn't really catch my interest(Note:That was before I even knew there was a RE game series ).

Day 4: How many RE games do you own? How many have you currently beaten?
Not many - RE Remake,RE3,RE4;RE5;RE CV;RE UC;RE0.I still have a lot more to "collect" in the future.
Finished all of them,except RE0(haven't started it yet) and RE CV(halfway through).

Day 5: Favorite female character
Jill Valentine(didn't see that one coming did you?).Honorable mention goes to Karena LesProux a.k.a. Lupo.

Day 6: Favorite weapon
Rocket Launcher.

Day 7: Least favorite male character
Does the Chain-saw Majini count?Because I hate that guy!And he just has to laugh like psychopath before beheading you.

Day 8: What was the first RE game you played?
RE4.The funny thing is that I got into the series 3 years after that - with RE5 and RE Remake.

Day 9: Favorite creature
Tyrant (T-002 Model).

Day 10: Have you read any of the books? If so, what ones?
The Umbrella Conspiracy and Nemesis.

Day 11: What part in the games scared you the most?
None of the games really scared me,because I was older when I started them and already had a good training, thanks to horror movies,but the part that creeped me out the most was the Spencer Mansion...all of it.

Day 13: Was there any parts in the games that made you laugh?
There are many,but my favourite scene is when Jill scares Barry:

Chris Redfield (honorable mentions to Carlos Oliveira and Billy Coen).

None - I prefer BOWs like Hunters,Oozes etc.

I think Ashley so far.I don't dislike her - I actually like her...when she keeps her mouth shut.

Day 17: Favorite boss battle
Uhhh hard one...Jill's boss fight.

Day 18: Least favorite RE game
Well there isn't a RE game that I don't like,but my least favourite so far is RE CV.

Besides the games, the two books.

Reapers from RE5.

Jill's monologue from RE3's intro(not really a line,but whatever).

Queen Leech(First Form) from RE UC - too easy.

I have no idea - I only know that I got SS rank.

Day 24: Do you have any favorite characters from the movies?
Svetlana Belikova.

RE Remake - since I didn't know the mansion I always managed to get in rooms,full of zombies,run out of ammo and then die.

No,but I felt bad when Luis died.

I do like the CG movies, all of them. It's the live action movies I don't like, especially not the latest ones. The first was good, Apocalypse was okay, Extinction had a horrible plot and by Afterlife I don't think Anderson even knows what he is doing anymore. Afterlife is by far one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

25 games, including Sweet Home and Deck Bulding Game, plus two demo discs. 17 beaten, 18 if you count a full playthrough of the DBG.

That's so tough...It's really a tie among RE1, CVX and RE6. I might go with CVX though.

Day 2: Least favorite villain
Morgan Lansdale, he was lame.

I like RE1. Apocolypse was cool too. After that they got ridiculous. There's nothing wrong with Anderson's films though, they are in their own universe and thats good and dandy.


Day 4: How many RE games do you own? How many have you currently beaten?
35, including the Wesker's Report and the two CG films.

Day 5: Favorite female character
J. Valentine. REmake and RE1 Jill especially. Actually RE3 Jill is the only one I didn't really care for.

Definately gotta be a pistol, like the samurai edge. Or the Striker.


Day 7: Least favorite male character
Morgan Lansdale. Or DC Douglas Wesker.

Code Veronica.

Always enjoy seeing Crimson Heads. Especially in their breakout role, in REmake.

I've read and own 7 RE novels; Umbrella Conspiracy, Caliban Cove, City Of The Dead, Underworld(fav), Nemesis, Code Veronica, and Zero Hour.


Day 11: What part in the games scared you the most?
None. I liked the part with the arms reaching out for you in that narrow hall at RPD in RE2, that gets me every time.

Richard Waugh Wesker.

Day 13: Was there any parts in the games that made you laugh?
Muscles Chris makes me laugh, sometimes in RE5, definately RER and RE6 too.

Probably zombays. I like the ones from RE1, cuz I can always run around them.

The Tyrant fight at the end of REmake is cool. I like how he'll toss you're missile aside after you fire, making you have to go for the shot again to kill 'em. Think he does it twice at most. It's like, "the hell do I have to do to kill this bastard?!"

Operation Raccoon City actually, it blows.

Day 19: Do you own any RE merchandise besides the games?
Wesker's Report, the CG films.

Spitter zombies. They're in UC, they're in DSC, and they're in RE6. I hate them.

The T-078 from CVX. On the plane...

Don't remember, but it's high. I get SS's.

Rain was cool. Alice was alright too, until Extinction.

Code Veronica X, or RE0. Definately has to be one of those two. Nite hasn't even finished RE0. He rage quite after getting killed by one of those mimicry marcus leech guys.

Like in a fight or what? I guess Chris. But I like Leon too.

REmake had awesome concept art. Or maybe I'm just thinking of renderings and stuff. IDK.

TMP in RE6. Why I have to shoot a zombie in the head twice just to get to where I can utilize my one-hit kill melee is unfathomable. Then Ada has to score at least 100K for an A. Psh.

Nope. I don't do that.

Could this question be anymore broad? RE is a game that is fun to play, and fun to watch people play. Can't think of too many other games that have that quality.

Just check Chris Redfield Story ending in RE 6, it makes both We Were Soldiers and Saving Private Ryan run for their money. Havent cried though, but that part was really dramatic

I like the CG films because they are entertaining and canon. I do not like the live action films because even if they were not RE films, they would be bad. The first would be okay and still is okay even as an RE film. The second has its moments but are overshadowed by bullshittery. The rest are complete embarrassments to the film industry.

I once owned the original 3. Now I only own Zero and 5 (the collector's edition).

Of the ones I have played...The rail shooter one I played. I honestly can't remember which one it was but it wasn't either of the chronicles games. They were pretty decent.

I have the Chris figure, Tricell bag, and BSAA patch that came with the RE5 collector's edition. And my avatar in Playstation Home has the RE5 shirts, statues, beetles, treasure chest, and awesome Wesker glasses!

Irving. Only because I have to kill that wonderful character. But if we are for real, it would probably be the very last lava battle with Wesker. Mostly because fucking Sheva ruins what should have been a great milestone in gaming history. And the setting was stupid.

Currently as of right now I own RE: Director's Cut, RE2, RE3, RE: CVX, RE4, RE5, and RE6 but I've owned every game in the main series besides Revelations. I also owned Outbreak and The Umbrella Chronicles. I've beaten every RE game I've ever owned.

VP70/Matilda/Wing Shooter.

Nearly all of RE3 having Nemesis chase you. You basically had to unlearn the RE formula and move around from room to room much quicker than you normally would.

Any time Barry Burton opened his mouth in the original game.

I've never S ranked any Mercenaries mission but I've aced quite a few of them.

If were talking about the live-action movies I have none but if were talking about the CG movies I'd say Leon again.

RE0 or RE3. RE0 because of the item management and RE3 because of the boss fights and puzzles.

The knife in every RE game besides CVX, 4, 5, and 6.

No, but I came close in RE2 when Ada "died" and when Luis died in RE4.

I hope the RE2 remake actually happens and it doesn't turn out to be utter crap.

Had to make an amendment to mine. I decided that ORC is my least fav RE game. I decided to pop in Gaiden the other night, just to watch the little intro, and the music is actually really awesome, in an 8-bit kinda way. It almost sounds like an 8-bit Excorcist. The gameplay still sucks, but just things like the music and vibes really make it better than ORC for me.

No, they introduced some Mary Sue character who hogs the spotlight, introduced wire-fu to Resident Evil, and pretty much killed the horror in the games.

About 10 and 10. I can't really count from my bed, but I think I count 10 games.

Day 6: Favorite weapon
Anything that shoots bullets.

Resident Evil 0.

The most? I can't really pin that for certain… maybe the labyrinth with dogs or the underground cells with the Novistadors.

That's hard to say… zombies would have to be more violent, and Plagas infected should stop using guns.

Jack was an interesting character. He had tons of cool traits, don't hate. He's definately fun to see in RE4. And the prequel lighstaber duels are boring, and look cheorographed.

USS members out of place in Raccoon? Hardly. Who knows, maybe the remnants made it as hired guns later on.

USS members out of place in Raccoon? Hardly.

They may officially be USS members, but they sure don't look it. They all look rididculous. Why they don't look like all the other USS members such as HUNK, and the members from Goblin 6, Alpha, Delta, etc is beyond my comprehension.

Some of them look kinda cool, but none of them really look right. One of them looks like Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell, another one is so obtuse that he sticks out like a sore thumb. What's up with the blue light face mask? Did she just get a nose job or what? Vector looked cool with the hood over the gas mask, but seriously, still isn't right. None of the voices really stood out either. The idea of having a "Wolfpack" is cool, but they shouldn't have tried to make them all super distinct like that.

Out of all of them I would definitely want to see Vector again. He is pretty much the only one who actually tied to the existing story, other than being a USS member. Maybe a game with HUNK and him as mercenaries. I'm thinking of something like Army of Two but with RE elements.

CG? Yes. Movies? No. Saw one scene as a child and I don't want to see any more. Mr Irony here; Love gore in games (excluding Simmons) but I absolutely hate real-ish gore.

I have a few: RE1 Wiimake, UC, DC, RE2, CV, 4, 5, 6, and ORC as for completed, I only have completed RE DC, 4, 5, 6 and ORC (2 and CV are too hard without a walkthrough)

I'd love to say certain parts of RE4 scared me, but that was when I was young. However unaware me didn't know about the crows smashing through the windows in RE2, I almost shit myself that day.

Neither. When it comes down to it, the humans are usually worse than the monsters.

"Small world, eh?" I know it was in the context of Luis meeting Leon and Ashley, but think about it, 9 times out of 10, people have been meeting up all over the world, Leon and Ada more commonly.

The reaper costume is propably my favorite alternate outfit in the series.

I don't really care about his skills and gear, I like the fact that he was trained by HUNK. That's why I'd like to see these two team up at some point.
