| Just watched Skyfall. Will not spoil. Go see this movie. Please, go watch this movie. IMO best film of the year. It was a great film, not just a great James Bond film. Amazing villain, amazing action sequences, and great character development. Bond like you've never seen him before. Watch it. Seriously. If you're going to watch a fim in the cinema this month, watch Bond.

I still like your sig BTW! Yah well it's surely out by now so maybe you should watch it fool! I really liked Skyfall. I digged Ralph Fiennes as the new M, perfect fit IMO, Javier Bardem was awesome(as always like in No Country For Old Men and Mouth To Mouth), and i also quite liked the new, younger, more modern kid that played Q. Still not too fond of Craig, but he was great in his performance. Skyfall is the sequel we deserved to Casino Royale, instead of Quantum Of Solace. Teh Spike says Skyfall is a great, 100% home-grown, money back guaranteed, awesome 007 film!

| It's been on my Netflix list for a while now, I just haven't had the urge to watch it. |

I'm sure it's great (I certainly wasn't disappointed with Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace), but my head's not in this world right now due to literary projects I'm focusing on. |

SEAL OF APPROVAL Since this Bond is a younger Bond, I thought the main villain had potential to become Jaws after the end. After all, he was only stabbed in the back...and had dental issues...and looked similar... |

| Isn't Skyfall Bond old? Hence his trouble being approved for fieldwork? |

| I would imagine the issue with him having trouble being approved for field work has less to do with age and more to do with the fact that Bond has always been a bit of a loose cannon. |

| Watch the film. He simply can't perform. Being maverick has nothing to do with it. |

| Ladies, ladies. You're both wrong. Although GL is pretty close with Bond's personality.
Not that this really spoils much, but Bond get's injured. He also drinks excessively, among other things. Like he wasn't even technically approved for field work, only officially.
And no Aegis, Skyfall and Craig's Bond in general, is a younger, and really the youngest Bond. Don't you remember he first gains 00 Status in Casino Royale? CR is the first novel, and these new films are both reboots for the series as well as prequels.
I didn't care much for the new Moneypenny though. I kinda hope they replace her and Bond soon. Again, i have no better suggestions atm.
@PWNERX, that's an interesting thought. Bardem probably could have made a good Jaws.I hadn't even thought of that. I wonder if we're gonna start seeing some classic villains like Jaws, Oddjob, Scaramanga, Baron Samedi, Nick Nack, Red Grant, Goldfinger, Dr. No, or my personal favourite, Ernst Stavro Blofeld. Especially Pleasance's performance in You Only Live Twice. Or the Blofeld from From Russia With Love and Thunderball. |

| It seems like I'm the only one that watched this film. Don't confuse a reboot with "everything being young and new." They mention that Bond is getting too old directly on screen. He overcomes it. The theme of Skyfall is aging. |

I'm thinking that eventually we'll see him later, with alterations to his body like some steel implants to his spine after being stabbed, as well as them metal teeth. He'll likely want revenge. Oddjob would be a nice addition as a henchman to someone else before working for Goldfinger. |

It seems i'm the only one in this thread that pays attention during the movie. Well except for 00Biohazard, and Ghost Leader, and PWNERX. *looks at Aegis* This is uncomfortable.... Skyfall may be more of a standalone story, unlike Casino Royale and Quantum, and aging is certainly one theme, but Bond is still pretty young. They make referrences to how aged things like MI6 are, with all of today's technology, it would almost seem obsolete. And 00's generally have a short life expectancy, and Bond with his formidable survival skills is probably just been around for awhile. When they mention being too old, it's probably more about that, and hell just how old the James Bond character is in general. Not that he is an old man. What is Skyfall like the 23rd Bond film. @PWNER, Jaws would be the best to have, since he was in so many of the 007 films before, always coming. But Oddjob would be cool too. I wonder how they'd make the hat stuff work, what with these newer films being more realistic. But yeah, i always liked those Bond Villians that have weird quarks, like Jaws, Oddjob, Xenia Onnatop, and others. |

Baron Samedi isn't dead yet, so he could make a rather interesting villain...especially considering how he has a tendency to not die. |

| I didn't think he was too old in years. I was speaking in relative terms, like you said, "aging" occurs faster in that job. His testing does definitely indicate bodily aging though. I still think that Skyfall takes place relatively later in Bond's career in this reboot universe too. It isn't like it takes place directly after the first two Craig films. |
