Actually, the Ganado are intelligent, they're anything but dumb, they communicate, use weapons, set traps, and follow orders, they only have bad hygiene.

Some even use toilets and eating utensils.

Of course the only toilets they use are urinals, which aren't very useful in every bathroom related situation.

More news on the trailer here. I don't know how reliable this info is but it's better than nothing. According to a person who saw those first 7 minutes of the movie shown at comic-con the person yelling "Leon!" at the end of the trailer is in fact Hunnigan. That would also explain why it sounds like it was coming through a radio.

So, turns out Mercy was right when he suggested the voice belonging to Hunnigan back at page 2.

Huh... That's actually disappointing.

I always assumed the reason why it sounded like Ashley was because we know in 4 she was his priority and every time she would shout his name and at that moment in the trailer he was having an audio back(if they have an equivalent for a audio flashback) of her shouting his name but in actuality its Hunnigan

I feel the same. It would've been interesting to see how they would've worked her into the story.

This also breaks my secondary theory of it being that someone from the novels.

I'm pretty skeptical about it being Hunnigan =/ i'm sure that she is in the movie somewhere, but that didn't sound like her in my opinion

I honestly don't care what theydo to this movie, I just know that I'm probably not going to enjoy it at all; Resident Evil doesn't belong in the film genre, their stories are usually crap, and movies can't represent that which Resident Evil stands for let alone envoke the same feelings that you get when you're playing the games.
