I couldn't possibly start the new one without finishing the first.
I got stuck on Vanille's Eidolan (I think that's how it's spelled...)
I then realized that Gran Pulse was GINORMOUS and went exploring. :3

7 and 8 do seem to be the better ones of this series.
I agree with you my dear 7 and 8 are the best FF series.
I third this, even though the last time I played FF7 was when I was like 7, and I never even got a fourth of the way through it. I really wish I would have waited to see Advent Children until after I FF7, whenever that will be.
