Final Fantasy VIII 14 hour Challenge

Well, it is possible that there isn't a single person who would care for this thread, but I'll make it anyway.

Tonight I'm having a marathon playthrough with friends of this game:

Final Fantasy VIII

The goal is to beat the game with a speed run in 14 hours, thanks to the "unique" feature of this game in which you don't need to level up to beat any of the main quest bosses.

We'll begin tonight at 10 pm...

Interesting. Is there any live feed?

....it could, but I can't think of no one who would want to watch 14 hours of me playing FF, . If itt works out I could start making live feed for shorter games, like the firsts RE games since I know them for memory. i could try the 3 hour REmake in a live feed, last time I made 3:30 with all the cutscenes and I wasn't even trying.

FF8 is my favorite Final Fantasy game and favorite game of all time. If you do a livefeed be sure to link us here, I'd like to watch (:

I never did beat that game though, I got to the very last boss battle and I couldn't beat Adea. I discovered online that most people by the end of the game have over 3000 health on each of their characters, I however only had like 300 health for each of my characters and the very basic weapons. Plus since you can't use GFs in that battle, it was pretty much impossible for to win. I've been meaning to start a second playthrough, and this time I'm going to do all of the side quests and stuff, if only I can figure out how to play Triple Triad....

Gave up at the beginning of disc 4.... 14 hours are up..

Disc 4? So close! There's only a few hours left at that point, if I'm not mistaken. Nice try though Samson.

Adea or Adel? I know it's Adel. That part is hard, cause you can't use your GF's you defeat him by using their Limit Breaks and Magics.

7 and 8 do seem to be the better ones of this series.
