OMG...here I was looking around on eBay for sweet PS1 games when all along the PS network had everything I wanted and more...
I'm sure I'm showing my age but I got a tad bit excited when I looked through the list of games on the network.
So many games I'd love to play that had my mouth frothing. FF5 right through to 9...The command and conquer series, all the old tomb raiders, pandemonium 1 & 2...Kurushi! one of the greatest puzzle games ever. Abe's odyssey and exodus! Even fighting force 1 & 2 has got me curious! not to mention how much gameplay SF: alpha can offer an old school fan...
I'm glad I'm not married right now because I can imagine how pissed off my wife would be at me in the next year for living a life full of nostalgia.
Can't believe I spent $120 AUS on FF7 when it is $16 on the network.
On a finishing note...are there any games you are hanging out for to be released on the PS network?
I know Rosco McQueen (the firefighter) and Suikoden are high on my list...

Gotta love Oddworld. I played Exodus before Odyssey, which was probably stupid because Exodus was sooooo much better. I love Sliggs!

Abe was a great idea...pretty much a mash up between platform and puzzle.
I'm still not sure why capcom never did a role playing street fighter spin off. Make it MA15+ like the animated movie with teasing naked scenes of Cammie and Chun Li and also fighters like Dee Jay being badass cuss machines and it'd be a better spin off than RE: Operation Raccoon City.
Sigh.... I guess fans like me are just not the majoity so what I wish for will not happen.
(Edit:) do you remember Flashback on the Sega Genesis Nite?
Abe was pretty much the second incarnation of that game...

I'd still rather have actual copies of the games than just downloaded versions. The only PSone games I've downloaded from PSN are Street Fighter Alpha and Guilty Gear.

There actually is an RPG that has characters from Street Fighter, but also from games like Darkstalkers, Resident Evil and Dino Crisis. That game is called Namco X Capcom and has like a bazillion playable characters from both companies' games. I'm still waiting for them to release it outside of Japan even if it has been out around there since PS2 (which it was made for). Maybe on PSN some day... maybe... I NEED THAT GAME D:
Just look at it!

I love downloading the games. Due to space and clutter issues I've had to get rid of alot of my older systems and games. Now, I can play most of them again. I prefer the actual copies but there's just not enough space for all those systems
