Are The RE Novels Canon?

This just crossed my mind, I read Caliban Cove and part of Underworld and I was wondering if these RE novels are canon.

I don't believe so.

I've heard they're not.

Oh, they are really cool novels anyway. Worth while to read.

Wow the last time i read one of those was in 8th or 9th grade I believe lol. I don't think they are canon because for one trent isnt in the games and I find it wierd with someone of his inteligence wouldn't be helping the characters. Also in underworld it had Jill, Chris, Claire, and Leon all teaming up. As epic as that sounds and would make a kick ass game, I don't believe all 4 of those characters have been together. Also underworld would have taken place before code veronica and inbetween 3 and cvx all of those characters were off doing their own thing to take down umbrella.

I've only read The Umbrella Conspiracy and Zero Hour and I loved them

In the BioHazard 3: Last Escape comic series Jill and Carlos team up with Leon and Claire, mutated Birkin fights Nemesis and the USS team does stuff in between.

All this sounds badass as hell
