| Hey, thanks for posting, I will check these out, especially whichever one takes place between RE1 & RE2, that one sounds the most interesting. |

| the novels I have read are great...they really do plug in some holes between games...they also add new characters into the mix...I have read all of them up to Underworld |

That would be Caliban Cove Spike. S.D. Perry did an excellent job with these adaptations, especially the ones for RE1 and RE2. All very well done. |

You know what is kind of wierd is that I had this idea a few weeks ago, about making a youtube video(s) about RE stuff, and possibly narrating, and I had this idea of just being some generic Umbrella personel who is going over files over BOWs and stuff, with no knowledge of this guy Trent, and after hearing about him, that is just a weird coincidence. |

| i think the books are outstanding. the two novels with completely new scenarios were great too. caliban cove was my favorite of the two. i love reading the novelizations of the games because she gives you a sense of what the characters may have felt. The character Trent was a great new edition to the novels. he is really mysterious and i love the reason why he is helping the main characters. i do not want to say too much in case some people have not had the pleasure to read them yet. |

Excellent point Charlie. I love the insights into the character's feelings...especially Jill's almost feverish need to solve the murders around Raccoon (for those who want to know what I'm talking about you gotta read the novel The Umbrella Conspiracy...gutwrenching stuff). |

That sounds really cool, Jill's feelings, wanting to find out definately put the characters on edge, like in Jill's Diary, it said how Chris was agitated and punched a fellow cop because he accidentally spilled coffee on him... |

Yes!...and we are also given insight into Chris' agitation before the Arklay incident...we get glimpses of the politics in and around the R.P.D., STARS ops, and just how on edge Chris is going into the situation. SPIKE, you'll absolutely love these books. |

I like Caliban Cove as well but you are right with the monsters...I didn't think much about them...my favorite book so far has to be City of the Dead |
