| I bought it on PSN last night and I couldn't help but notice something a little wonky. The default control scheme is super awkward. I had to switch it to the Type II since it was so odd. Since when in an RE game did you use square to fire? It was just strange on the developers part. It is nice that they made the run button X instead of square (like in RE5). Another issue I've heard a lot of people complain about is that it actually isn't in HD. I've heard there are a lot of bad textures that didn't exactly get the HD treatment and are pretty prevalent in-game but so far to me it looks fine. As I said, the only real complaint I have is the strange new control scheme. |

| i hated re4 on the ps2, and that wasnt because of the obviously inferior graphics, it was the horrible control scheme. the way re5 plays is pretty nice, so...i guess if the controls have to on anything other than gc, then re5's would be nice.
also, you mentioned the graphics, are they an issue for you or what? its your review so tell us what you think, thats what im interested in.
as long as they look as good as it did on the wii i dont really care too much. and even better. also, is cvx out yet in hd, im curious what that one looks like.
im also curious what saving will be like. how many save slots and all. |

Every RE game that's ever been on a Sony console has used the square button to fire your weapon. |

| Who cares if you have to shoot with X or Square, you'll get used to both scemes very fast. |

| I always change the controls. In RE1 and RE5 anyway.
I never use the default RE5 control scheme. I always use the one based off of RE4. |

| This was probably just done because Capcom figured that RE5's controls would be fresher in people's minds that RE4's. I'll admit that it can be a bit disorienting when I'm shifting between the games, but you adjust pretty quickly. |

| Really guys? Complaining about the controls in an RE game? All of us SHOULD be the masters of unlocking control schemes. Look at the control scheme training every RE has given us! |

| Yeah if you can change it back to the traditional control scheme within 30 seconds what's the problem? |
