i've read that it sometimes make sounds, when they are alert or ready to attack, like a dog that's ready to attack... but still i'm not sure

but don't worry about it, you will not see one there in your room for a long time, it probably got lost... just keep your place dry, it lives in moist ares, mostly underside rocks..

i think texas has alot of them that's invading homes, one was 8 inches long

If a centipede ever made a noise at me, I'd flip. That's creepy.

Nope. Insects have six legs, arachnids have eight. Ergo, spiders aren't insects.

Plus insects have the 3 part body, I believe. The head, abdomen, and thorax. The spider has only 2 parts. The cephalothorax and abdomen.

That movie is the single most reason that when a spider is in my immediate area, I turn into a scared little bitch running and screaming and shit.

I HATE SPIDERS. Once, I do recall being with some friends, doing a little shooting. I encountered a big ol sumbitch in the woods and introduced him to my Mossberg 500 12 gauge.

Bob is right on the money with the film. It's a really good movie.

I know the movie GL is talking about, I have it on DVD. You know the movie is going to be bad when the movie title is different than the one on the cover. It says 8 Legs on the cover but the actual name for the movie is (even the title says so) Arachnid. That was a crappy movie for sure.

I think Arachnophobia is the reason I have arachnophobia.

I remember noticing something like that... There were lots of other continuity errors in there too but I think a part of my brain had a meltdown while watching that movie.

I think nuking the house is the best option. Recluses really are sons of bitches. Screw that. If I saw one I'd probably just die.

@GL: Speaking of stuff changing between shots, I made a Matrix film in high school with some friends. At the beginning I had regular hair that had been bleached. Throughout filming, my hair got longer, then longer and yellow, then got cut and it was brown. So my hair was constantly changing through the film. lol Fail on our part. It was only like...15 minutes long though.

Ewww, I HATE spiders. I literally can't be in the same room as one. I don't mind daddy-long legs, moths, ants, anything like that.

I just HATE spiders ... and slugs (although i love pouring salt on them )
