really what kind are those anyway?? the common ones here are those dark red ones, and they have no sound i'm supposed to put a picture but i feel uncomfortable again... like something crawling on my foot, leg, arm and back... oh god i'm shaking.. I mean the thing itself didn't make a sound but the sound when it ran across the floor with its creepy little feet.
I'm starting to think that the thing you saw was mutating into a Centurion. i know it was the feet that made the sound... is this the common centipede you see there? - Spoiler:
(i wasn't supposed to put the spoiler but i did because it's disgusting lol) you should watch lost tapes, the episode 'death crawler' or something like that |

| It would've been f'd up if the thing actually made a sound like that D: HOLY GOD! NO! That's not at all what the thing looked like! Seriously, that's an ugly bug. It was more like this Erm.. Should we leave this centipede thing, we're getting awfully off topic here |

| Just have to say this. Spiders aren't insects. Also, the spider in Charlotte's Web is...Charlotte. Maybe it's one of her babies at the end? |

Erm.. Should we leave this centipede thing, we're getting awfully off topic here i've read that it sometimes make sounds, when they are alert or ready to attack, like a dog that's ready to attack... but still i'm not sure but don't worry about it, you will not see one there in your room for a long time, it probably got lost... just keep your place dry, it lives in moist ares, mostly underside rocks.. i think texas has alot of them that's invading homes, one was 8 inches long |

My mind is blown. I mean, I know they're arachnids but I also thought they fell under insects... - Quote :

| Plus insects have the 3 part body, I believe. The head, abdomen, and thorax. The spider has only 2 parts. The cephalothorax and abdomen. |

That reminded me of a movie called Arachnophobia. Anyone seen it? It's a good flick. |

You mean that Sy-Fi Channel crapfest about a group of researchers, mercenaries, and their pilot who crash land on a Pacific island and find it inhabited by some kind of giant space spider? That movie was beyond horrible... |

That movie is the single most reason that when a spider is in my immediate area, I turn into a scared little bitch running and screaming and shit. I HATE SPIDERS. Once, I do recall being with some friends, doing a little shooting. I encountered a big ol sumbitch in the woods and introduced him to my Mossberg 500 12 gauge. ETA: @Mass... You talking bout the one with Jeff Daniels and John Goodman, correct? Bit older film? |

| Bob is right on the money with the film. It's a really good movie.
I know the movie GL is talking about, I have it on DVD. You know the movie is going to be bad when the movie title is different than the one on the cover. It says 8 Legs on the cover but the actual name for the movie is (even the title says so) Arachnid. That was a crappy movie for sure. |

I know it's the reason I have it. I still dream of giant poisonous spiders running at me whilst aflame and screaming. I am convinced that spiders are the direct spawn of Satan, himself. I am sure that if I ever see a brown recluse in my house, I am just gonna burn it to the ground... Or nuke my house from orbit. |

Arachnid was the terrible one, not Arachnophobia. Does anyone else notice how the AR-15 carbines the cast uses in that movie all randomly change models constantly between shots? |

| I think nuking the house is the best option. Recluses really are sons of bitches. Screw that. If I saw one I'd probably just die.
@GL: Speaking of stuff changing between shots, I made a Matrix film in high school with some friends. At the beginning I had regular hair that had been bleached. Throughout filming, my hair got longer, then longer and yellow, then got cut and it was brown. So my hair was constantly changing through the film. lol Fail on our part. It was only like...15 minutes long though. |

| Ewww, I HATE spiders. I literally can't be in the same room as one. I don't mind daddy-long legs, moths, ants, anything like that. I just HATE spiders ... and slugs (although i love pouring salt on them ) |
