Sorry don't know the exact names of the games, but know they're out there. Little help?
One game I'm thinkin' of is Marvel vs Capcom 3. According to Game Informer due out Spring 2011.
In this game Chris Redfield can face the Incredible Hulk, Ryu, Wolverine, Captain America & many others. Sorry, but I think it's just too far fetched. Seeing Chris fight those guys in one-on-one combat seems stupid to me. I suppose if anyone would like it I'd find them in this forum, right?

Chris is going to be in MvC3? That's awesome. As for you saying it's too far stretched, the game where he appears in this time is just for fun and to mix characters from different games. These are not canonical games so why would it matter? Anyway, for other such games: Jill Valentine appeared in MvC2 (having zombies, crows, cerberi and the Tyrant as a backup) and Frank West (though not RE character but similar) appeared in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. Also, Bruce McGivern and Fong Ling from Dead Aim appeared in an RPG that had some fighting game-ish stuff in it (Namco X Capcom). The game also featured Regina from Dino Crisis.
Guess I'm just an ol' stick in the mud. To me it just seems ridiculous. Heck I ddn't even like seeing Chun Li kicking the **** outa Zangief. I mean you might as well have Mario in a fighting game against Superman then.

Nah, the proportions would be weird. But Superman did fight Scorpion from Mortal Kombat in MK vs DC. As for it being ridiculous, I can't believe any gamer would be so put off by it. Gamers thrive on ridiculousness. The best games in the world are downright ridiculous when all is said and done.

Well actually I have had that fight... Needless to say, Superman won. And of course ridiculous games sell, that's mostly why I buy them

I love fantasy, but I think even in an imaginary world there are certain rules & expectations that should apply. I mean what if Frodo busted out a machine gun & just started wasting orcs? It would be stupid right? I think Chris Redfield fighting the Incredible Hulk is comparable.

I think those games are the shameless whoring out of well established and well loved characters to make a quick buck. Never played one.... Never will.

Nah, that's too much thinking into it. To me it's just nice to see what they come up as characters in their fighting games. SNK has incorporated their characters in almost all of their main titles (KoF, AoF, Fatal Fury, Ikari Warriors, Metal Slug, Samurai Shodown...)
If it has good gameplay, I'll play it.

Whether any of you like it or not, many many people do. Which is why they are made. I don't know who came up with MvC, but it sells well. If you don't like it, don't play it. Not much else to say about it.

Exactly why I said I have never played one and I never will. I think what makes characters great in the first place is the context in which they are used or the senarios they struggle to overcome. Take them out of their environment and they just lose their appeal. Now.... put Leon S. (the S stands for Scott)Kennedy{I know you all know his middle name, it's just my nickname for him.} in a Mortal Kombat and I'll play it all day, just to rip his head off over and over again.

Haha. I'd love to rip Scott's head off. I'm so sick of the Scott fanboys. Maybe we should call him Scottie.

So many characters to choose, each very unique, fun places to fight that have obstacle, great items to use, great Nintendo characters beating on eachother (+ Snake). What more could I want?

True. And don't forget Sonic I love these kinds of mash-up/crossover games just because of the fun you can have with different characters.
Look what I found, check it out:

This game... so... must buy...
My team is gonna be Jill, Chris & Wesker, just for old times' sake.
Oh, and Kratos is looking pretty neat in the next Mortal Kombat.

A new update nobody is interested in. Well, I am.
Nemesis and Frank West will be playable in the upcoming rerelease of Marvel vs. Capcom 3!
I still hate Capcom for not just making a downloadable bundle pack for the characters AND for making yet another rehash of a fighting game.
Sorry for the second post here but the thread was already buried six feet deep.
