What is everyone's take on the new movie? I'm sure there is some kind of a new (ish) plot line. But judging by the trailer, I'd say the only thing that really stands out is the fact that it's in 3D now. Cant wait to see it in Imax theaters though. That'll be something new.

I think its different to the other movies from the fact that they are using the enemies from Resi 4 and 5 (the Las Plagas and the Executioner). I cant wait for it to come out cos it looks great.

Having this movie be in 3D doesnt change my opinion on it...I think it will be the same as the other movies (except for Degeneration) which is not good
Yep...and just seeing the Executioner, that's plain silly.
As I usually say regarding this, it looks good enough to go watch in the theatre, or possibly a rental, but I don't picture myself buying this to watch every weekend...

Well Nite, are you going to give this movie at least a single viewing? I mean it's fair to say it will suck, but wouldn't you like to see for yourself.

Do I have to see? I know 100% it's gonna suck balls out the asshole.
Perhaps, but it would worth at least one watch I would think. I don't intend to go out & buy it to add to my RE collection, probably just going to watch it once, see what kind of stuff was messed up, what kind of things Anderson did right, and what in it is just cool as a movie movie, not an RE movie.
I also want to see the Executioner, he looks ridiculous.

Godddddddddddddddddddd.................I guess I will have to watch it just so I can argue with the legions of RE4 and RE5 fanboys that will come on here saying how wicked sick the movie was. You know full well, Spike, that the movie fanboys are almost ALWAYS RE4 fanboys. Just looking for mindless action.

Sometimes they can be one in the same.
But better to have a loaded gun, rather than blanks.

I actually had the same thought about the jumping through window scene as seen in the parody.
I literally thought "What? Is this the Matrix?"

Mindless action? Good. Ripping off other movies without it being a parody of some sort? Bad.
Besides, Matrix has both good story and action. I'd rather watch them again.
