I like good spinoffs. But not these games. Actually, I must say, Dead Aim was lot better than I expected it to be. I just hated the fact, that CAPCOM teases the fans with the updated graphics in RE2 areas. Why can't they just do a remake!

If you're referring to Outbreak, they had just made the first remake a year or so before the release of that game. At that point there was not even any talk about an RE2 remake so it really doesn't count as "teasing". If that's your only gripe with those games, that's a lame reason to hate them.

If you wanna talk about teasing with the locations, there's always ORC and DSC.

I'm actually assuming pacdredogg never played those games.

Also, I just finished my Resident Evil 4 review, I find that if you don't like the game it's only because you must be a Resident Evil purist. But not liking REmake? That confuses me.

Ive played all the rest and id say my least fav. game is RE: Operation Raccoon City

it was just not very RE like at all ... it was an ok game to play after a while , but i was dissapointed in it .

Dead Aim and Survivors are pretty good to be spinoffs, so I agree. You say they are bad, but how can you define something is bad when you have never experienced it? Go out, and play them. As Mass said, you might be surprised.

I've played them. DA isn't that bad, just too easy. Survivor 1/2 are only good IFF you are in europe. Otherwise, it'll be rather clunky.

i didnt play them because they werent the same style as the previous games ... so i didnt have much interest in them.

i did get DeadAim ... its not my fav by far, but it was ok ... I might pick survivor up one day and see what i missed , but i dont think i missed too much

You missed some awesome story

I would say Survivor or Dead Aim. I just had such a hard time getting into those games. I don;t think I ever beat Survivor. The only RE game I haven't.

I am going to get so much flak for this but...Outbreak File 2. Why? It added nothing to the original game except new maps/some new enemies/and new costumes.

The first game had a nice/sad ending depending on your actions and choices.

I had fun with the game please do not think I did not but it just did not really get me as pumped as first game.

Honestly, you won't get much flak from thinking that. It frankly wasn't the best in the franchise. However if you said REmake and RE4, I would probably lob a toe off you.

Couldn't you do that in the first game too? At least I remember walking around a licker while shooting it and/or hitting it with a stick.

I can't remember if you could or could not. Also I don't remember if File 2 had good/bad endings like the first one did.

There are multiple endings for all characters in File2 but I don't know what they are like as I've never actually finished the game.

EDIT: Just checked, there are indeed good and bad endings in the game.
