dam i seem to be stuck

ok so i need advice from people who have gotten past that little bastard on re 4 at the top of the tower he becommes part of that beast with two tentacles i ve tried everything i can think of and had no problems till this part any advice? how did ya do it?

i know i have to wait till his little shell thing opens and can get a clear shot

Ah Salazar. My only advice is stay near the middle, about where you started and avoid the tentacles and just keep laying into him when the shell opens. Sniper works well.

yeah i ve tried stayin to one side so all i gotta do is avoid a tentacle to beinn on the floor in one of the small little areas where i only got the bugs about ready to just try the rocket launcher lol

Keep dodging the attacks.

i literally just got it had the launcher moved around till it opened and got him m

Nice. I was gonna say, my tactic was to stay to one side (the right) and shoot the tentacle there until it retracts, this gives you at least 30 seconds to shoot at the eye without interference. As soon as the tentacle pops out, shoot it again. As a side note, a single shot in the eye with any magnum should be enough to open up the shell.

yeah i tried everything i could think of even checked out walk thrus just got pissed so bought the rocket launcher lol was worth it cause i didnt use any other ammo and had tons added from the items in the room

Haha Man Salazar deserves to be pooped on youtube... Easiest enemy in game... I love the trick... Just stand by one tentacle shoot it couple of times and it wont bother you anymore since it will go back into the wall for some time... Stay there and aim fro head... No dmg to you...

fro i tried that but even if i was all the way over the mouth still seemed to get me

is this for computer or a system?

my tactic was to go to the bottom and just open up on him with I all I had when he opened up

its on ps2 i tried stayin on the side but seemed to move at the wrong times gettin hit .

tried stayin below but just ended up wasting ammo but i think my problem was my wireless controller i had one that was junk and seemed to react slow but the one i have now is ten times better and i was able to move quicker

One smart thing to do to shoot only one of his tentacles. I've found that when you do that, the giant mouth (or whatever) doesn't jump out at you. And if you stay on the side of the tentacle you shoot, the other one you don't shoot can't get to you.

Well like i said... Those mouth are dumb... I dont see reason for getting eaten by it... They are duuuumb... Yes, yes dear, yes dumb... We can speak for both of us!

do what i did go down to the floor to your left and shoot him there you just got to watch out for the spiders thou and it takes a long time to kill him

Well the easy way is to just buy a rocket launcher and when he becomes exposed shoot him once with the rocket and he will be down for the count.

I don't think you even have to wait for him to be exposed. If I remember right, just hit the wall behind and just above him.

But I haven't used an RPG on him in a while. The Thompson works just fine.

Special weapons make all the bosses too easy. Especially the Thompson with its unlimited ammo and high fire power/rate. Give me the original handgun any day. (With the exclusive of course )
