Maybe the additional Teh Like Threads deserved to be locked. But Teh Spike's other thread seems to have garnered some attention.

Spike, your thread was promoting spam which is against the rules on the forum. I already explained that in the first thread last month. So, yes. It was that bad, and no, we're not being unfair. Stop getting your ex to call us out for your own mistakes.

Fine, to answer your question the only threads being locked and deleted were Spike's because he was throwing a fit. The admins aren't deleting any threads or posts without reason.

Honestly, Teh Spike should have asked someone to lock that thread after the first post. Believe me, I do appreciate the support of those that have shown it, but it's the kinda thing where now Teh Spike will just wait to see who comes forward. Otherwise, I don't really want this issue being a thing here. Just had to do post that, finally. Let's get back to the whatever kind of normalcy we had before.

Look, if Spike is willing to drop it, then you shouldn't get invested in it. We don't lock or delete threads because we feel like it.

Not referring to the Teh Like Threads, was something else deleted? Because Teh Spike didn't post anything until getting on today. Wondering what happened..in my That Time thread.

All I'm wondering is what happened to the Spike of the old days.

I'm going to echo what Vandal said: we don't lock or delete topics/posts for the lulz. But what other topic was deleted? I only cleaned out the spam we were hit with the other day.

I'm not aware of any other threads that were deleted.

It would be helpful if he'd chime in and tell us what topic was deleted. If a legit one was deleted, it's possible I might have accidentally ticked it during the cleanup.

I deleted the additional Teh Like threads after they had been locked. I locked the second one because it was, like mentioned, unnecessary. I even apologized for the inconvenience on said thread before eventually deleting it. I swear on my honor as an admin that I have not and will not lock or delete threads just for the kicks.

I'm getting curious about these unnecessarily locked and/or deleted threads myself. And deleted posts, too? Have I missed something?

I just checked the admin panel, no records of any other threads being deleted are present.

I mentioned this attack to winters the other day, nothing more.... and since I have the chance, it would be nice to have more RE related threads and less user gossip.

Agreed, I was even considering shutting down Others for a while, but I haven't consulted the other admins about that yet.
