RE2: Marvin and Ben's Surnames

In the credits you find out they are Marvin Branagh and Ben Bertolucci. Do you ever come across any of their surnames in the game itself?

You find out Leon's middle initial is "S" in the introductory video for the Claire B scenario. The narrator says one of the only survivors was Leon S. Kennedy. Also in the character selection screen in Resident Evil 1.5 his name appears as Leon S. Kennedy.

Marvin's last name is mentioned in a file in RE3, I'm pretty sure Ben's is in 2 in one file...but it has been a while since I played 2. Leon's middle name is Scott, can't remember the exact game that was mentioned(might have been re4...maybe 2?)

Fun Fact: SD Perry's city of the Dead novelization came out after re2 was released in the west mentioning Marvin's last name(giving the west his last name for the first time before re3 came out) although it is non cannon(as much as I want it not to be.)

Yeah it's in 4, Salazar calls him Scott a few times.

??? Ada clearly says "I'm looking for a guy named Ben." At least in the European version.

Mystery still unsolved

Wasn't Marvin's last name adopted from SD Perry's novelization of RE3?

No, she just had access to some supplemental material from Capcom. She had Trevor's Notes for the first novel which were not translated the time Umbrella Conspiracy was released and she was the first to coin the phrase 'Spencer Estate.'

Some of her ideas were actually adopted in various resident evil strategy guides. The bradygames guides for Remake and Zero had articles on STARS being formed in New York in 1967 for example.

I got Mikhail's from the guide book by Prima.

Weren't there any files you could find that were about Marvin Branagh or Ben Burtolucci?
