| So I had Chinese food yesterday, and in my fortune cookie I got a fortune that read, "Good character is more to be praised than outstanding talent.".
I wonder how appropriate that fortune is. Do you guys have any fortunes you would like to share? |

| My question is why you're complaining about how this is turning into a social networking site like facebook yet you turn around and spam the forums with useless threads like some pre-teen who just realized they can get all the bad ideas out there in the world and someone will read them. |

My question is why do you think talking to people, especially admins, this way is acceptable? At least I wait for someone to start being asinine to me before I respond in kind. And we appreciate the intent, honestly. But making jokes out of administrative actions such as my warning to Spike can undermine a staff member's authority and result in the community not taking him/her seriously. |

| Not to take sides but I thought Paul's joke was pretty lighthearted and is the type of
thing that would turn a bad situation back into a calm state.
I agree that Ghost was in the right, he wasn't being unreasonable to Spike in the slightest, but
just because of Paul made a lighthearted joke towards both them does not mean that anyone
on the forums would take Ghost's position any less serious.
If admins star running around with this type of mind-frame then it turns a community into a more serious matter.
I honestly think it was Paul's remark that was taking out of context, we are all supposed to be equal in regards to Resident Evil fans and or friends. We shouldn't be separated by rank, of course when admins need to the job that their position requires them to do then obviously that's a different matter. |
