| I've always wondered why cats have blunt noses. Could anyone here tell me why? |

| Thank you for the link. It gave me better insight into cats but it didn't provide the information I was looking for. |

I am a student of animals. I have learned much of how their physiology plays a part in their daily lives, what functions they serve, but of all the things I can't reason on my own, why felines have blunt noses is one of them. |

| Cats aren't the only animals with blunt noses...They just evolved that way. Why don't you just google it? Why in the hell would you ask a board full of Resident Evil fans this question? |

Because almost no RE Fan on this site has seen or would want to see a Zombie Cat. Cats deserve better. Like bodyguards, or Chuck Norris. |

I used google to seek the answer to the question of this thread, but I couldn't find it. There are articles that talk about cats rubbing their noses together, the pinkness and dryness of them, all this understand perfectly, but there is nothing so far that says why their noses are blunt. Are they to aid cats in feeding, foraging? |

| If the internet does not know the answer, I hardly believe it could be found here. |

| They don't need to depend on their sense of smell as much as dogs do. They have humans for that. |
