What Other Languages Do You Know?

Do any of you know another language besides your native one?

I am currently learning German at my school and I did pretty well at it last school year and I am taking 2 more levels of it next year as well. I would also like to learn Norwegian at some point too.

I'm an ABC, so I only speak English and broken Spanish since I live in South Florida where there are more Cubans than there are ants. Apparently it's something other Chinese people look down upon. Not that I really care, because I'm a proud American.

Yo hablo espanol y ingles. Hablo ingles muy bien, espanol no muy bien.

English and spanglish. Oh and a little spanish too.

Russian and English, Fluent. Don't know why, but im getting a feeling that this forum is going way off topic, "Resident Evil" posts are lessened, when threads like this flood the site, no offense, pretty good question, i myself actually wondered if how many languages people here know, but lets not forget our main purpose here . . .

Hey Dalton, good to have you back here. Well, I only speak two languages. English, and Tagalog (Filipino language.) I'm a proud asian. Even though I'm not an american. I love speaking English cause it's only way I communicate with you my fellow buddies, and friends

Dutch and English are my main languages. Can speak a bit of french and german. Oh and I know 1 thing in Tagalog, "Mahal Kita".

Well i never start threads (or on very rare occasions) but forums had enough amount of RE threads even w/ out my help. One way or another fact is fact, by now there are more random threads than it ever was (at least as long as im here)

I majored Japanese and intend to do the same with English to get two diplomas. I am Serbian so I naturally know Serbian too.

On a side note, I'm top poster of the month again!  Granted, this month is only, like, 5 hours old so far, but let's not argue semantics.  

Omg, even I am in the top posters! It's been a year or so.

Who else here has taken three years of a foreign language in Middle School/High School, but can't speak enough of it?

Me. I studied German for 4 years and I suck donkey scrotum at it. I seriously hated that language in high school. Can't speak shit worth of German. It's too bad really, if I did put effort into it, I would be speaking 4 languages now.

Do they still make students in Finnish schools learn Swedish? My German teacher is from Finland and says she had to learn Swedish in school because it was required or something along those lines.

Yes, since it's a bilingual country. I don't see the point of it though since the Swedish speaking people only live near the coast and cover under 10% of the population.

Wow that's very unnecessary, with that logic every country across Europe would have to do the same thing. Kinda weird how Finland gets caught up in that of all countries.

It's mostly due to the country's history with Sweden as Finland used to be part of it way back when.

Oh ok, I understand now. But it still rather weird how they continue to require students to learn Swedish, you would think things would change since then.
