It fucks with your head and enjoys every second of your mental breakdown.
There is some cool elements to the game and the sequel will surely go the same directions.

Yeah eBay will probably have a cheap copy, I don't want to spend too much money on it though. And yeah I seen gameplay footage of when an error message pops up and says your memory card has been deleted, I can only imagine how that made people feel back when this game first came out. lol

Yeah it totally fucked with your mind back when it was first released lol.
I can see the sequel on PC maybe doing something like the blue screen of death or popping up with some fake PC virus saying your PC's being infected and not letting you close down the game or
something.
I can only speculate but I'm pretty sure they will fuck with your mind once again.

Oh god that would scare the shit out of me, that would be very effective at freaking out the player that's for sure. I am sure the developers have a few things of that nature up their sleeve when it comes to adding stuff like that.

That game was just strange. When it said the control pad wasn't plugged in, you would believe it was disconnected and you would check on it. After a while, the gag become a drag. You knew it was still plugged in because you would know it was the game telling you lies. pirat

Some news to anyone still possibly waiting for this game. The crowdfunding was cancelled and one of the developers has been arrested for possession of child pornography. It seems highly unlikely the project amounts to anything.

Nintendo has also trademarked the name Eternal Darkness again so who knows, maybe they want the game back on their console? Or maybe they're just protecting the IP. [source]

As far as the kickstarter pledges are it doesn't look to good for the games future.
Truly sad that there is not that much interest in the game.
It should have full backing by a publishing company rather than needing to resort to fans donations.
I mean the game would shift a substantial amount of units.
It just seems that now if a game isn't a FPS COD replica or it doesn't gather the attention of FPS fans then the game isn't worth it, sad really.
They should contact the Chinese room and frictional games and maybe they would help out
with funding and productions and maybe through in some creativity to at also.

How ironic would that be :DThe former masters of the genre being funded by new indie developers.

As for funding, who knows why Nintendo trademarked Eternal Darkness again.

It would be hilarious but a nice gesture also lol.
I mean the survival horror genre isn't a huge genre so companies need to stick together.
Nintendo better start throwing money there way and stop being asses.
The game would give the wii U an advance on it's library of games and might get console fans without a PC to buy a wii U (maybe).
The Wii U needs all the help it can get.

It certainly would be a wise move by Nintendo. Bayonetta 2 isn't gonna carry the weight of the console alone for all eternity.

For $20 you will get a digital copy of the game and access to a secret room. For $45 you will get two downloadable copies of the game and you can choose if you'll have both on PC, both on Wii U (these if you want to give a copy to a friend) or one for each. For $65 you will get an actual physical copy of the game for PC and an additional digital download for PC or Wii U. For $100 you'll get in the Beta and for $140 you'll receive the collector's edition. There is a lot more awards for backers but those I think were something that might interest you the most.

It sure would be.
I mean Bayonetta is a step in the right direction for the Wii U but it only yields a decent amount of attention.
If LOZ:windwaker HD port didn't get people buying up a Wii U then I doubt Bayonetta will change that.
It will be a nice and worthy addition to the library and will help structure the Wii U future sales.
Also Bayonetta wasn't everyone's "cup of tea" due to the painfully extreme difficulty level.
I enjoyed it, the challenge was much like the older DMC games.
So this will leave a big gap in the sales of the game.
Nintendo will have to start bombarding Wii U with great titles such as this and then maybe people will buy the console.
I'm interest in a handful of games but will only buy one when there is a mass library of decent titles for me buy.

That sounds amazing for the backers.
I would put a solid $140 into the production of the game in a heartbeat.
However I'm scared to do so in case (god forbid) the game doesn't make the quota and I lose my money with nothing to show for it.
This is a very hard decision.

The beautiful part is, all money made on these kickstarter deals will be given back if the quota isn't met. The system is so that only the money you WILL give is shown and only if the quota is met, then is the money taken from your account and given to the devs. You can also take back your donation any time you want as long as there's still time left.

Then I might just put down a decent sum of money so if this ever gets developed I can participate in the beta.
The special edition of game sounds like a decent price for loyalty.
I will see at the end of the month if I have enough, I just hope people follow suit and start funding the project, I don't want it to die.
