There I was just minding my own business on Youtube when-BAM! Outta nowhere I see Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, what appears to me to be a live action web series. I see a trailer and they have my curiosity, after witnessing episode 1: the introduction they had my attention.
And then of course then the chapter 1 episodes of the three intertwining storylines. Officer Kennedy's episode was ultimate. Can't wait till Chapter 2 is released

Why is Jill blonde?
This looks interesting. I really do like the music for sure. Very cool and RE-like. REminds me of like maybe RE0/UC.

I've asked myself that every day since Kijuju.

A pigmentation abnormality that resulted from Wesker's experimentation on her. This is revealed in an in-game document found by examining the computer on the platform after the battle with U8.
Oh, and there's also this little reminder from back in '96, the first iteration of the character that the game shows us.
Look at that: BLONDE HAIR.

This mystery has decisively been put to rest by none other than the Blonde Jill himself, Ghost Leader!
The actress is probably blonde in homage to the Jill Valentine in the live action introduction in the original Resident Evil, or at least that'd be a good excuse not to dye your hair for the part.
I enjoyed the idea of Leon getting his transfer to the RPD from Irons for capturing the rogue ex-S.T.A.R.S. Chris Redfield

I like the idea of Jill having PTSD. All of the RE characters should've had some kind of mental instability. The human mind can only take so much.

No, I can't take credit for that. I have to cede it to Capcom for explaining it within the game itself, which numerous people were either too stupid to find (presumed dead for six years Jill's face is displayed on a computer in a bio-research facility and you... don't think to examine said computer?) or just simply try to ignore because they don't like the explanation or something.

Holy fuck, why don't more people know about this? Low budget to be sure, but man......... I love it! It's got great music, and some pretty good direction. I too like the idea of PTSD Chris and Jill. It really makes sense when you think about it. Also, I thought the guy who plays Irons was fantastic.
I want more!

It's pretty fun, actually. The episodes aren't really all that long but here are all five that I've collected in a nifty playlist: [link]
For reference, this takes place after RE5.
