| I was thinking about this the other day. At the start of RE 3 when Jill leaves the apartment/ building she gets completely surrounded by zombies and so has to rush inside the nearest building which is a warehouse with Dario in it. Jill exhorts him to leave and accompany her to try and find a way out of the city but he completely refuses because he's too scared and he'd lost his daughter. Jill again tries to persuade him to reconsider but he still refuses and even locks himself in a container. But despite this Jill still decides to leave the warehouse and the only way out is through the back door which is locked so she has to find the backdoor key which is located in the office upstairs. Once she gets the key she heads straight for the back door and uses it to unlock the door and then just discards it.
Later you can return to the warehouse and if you do you'll find a bunch of zombies feasting on Dario's dead corpse.
I was just wondering, do you think Jill may have unintentionally and unwillingly played a small part in leading to Dario's death by leaving the backdoor unlocked and thus granting the zombies a way into the warehouse ? |

| I guess it depends. Jill indeed left the door unlocked, but Dario promised that he would never ever leave the container that he was hiding in. I guess the zombies also knows how to open containers. |

| It's because he wasn't a main character. |

| What's more, his daughter is implied to have survived and almost made it to that room before she's killed. Some of you might recall, when backtracking to Dario's room (as I call it) later in the game, you can hear an off-screen shriek only to happen upon a freshly-killed girl with a walker standing over her moments later outside the room. |

| Actually, you can hear it pretty early in-game. I forgot how, but I remember what I saw. |

| So in the end, Jill accidentally let all the zombies get in and Dario, upon hearing his daughter's screams, came out of the container only to find a room full of zombies.
Wow, that's even darker than I originally thought of the whole situation. |

| Having played RE3 so many times, I'm kind of ashamed I didn't connect these situations earlier. Always thought it was just some random girl. - Mass Distraction wrote:

| Well, I don't think the zombies knew how to open the containers, but I do think that Dario might of changed his mind at the last minute and opened to get out just see zombies waiting for him. I think Jill left it unlocked because she probably knew that he was going to leave eventually. It is really hard for a human to just starve themselves in a small concealed space. Then again, it's just a theory. WOW, this whole thing has sure gotten me thinking |

| Woah.... That's some deep shit we all missed. And very sad.
I don't think it's Jill's fault:
- Usually zombies cannot open doors. - Jill might have left the door unlocked for him to later come out. - Had she locked the door, he still would have looked for a key so he could get out & find his daughter. - In the end they still would have died because of the bomb.

| You are just overthinking it bro. Bottom line is that Dario would have died anyway because he went out when he heard his daughter screaming. He got eaten, as was she. Too bad you can't save either though. |

| I blame his aim or the zombies, not Jill. Predicament was bad, but I don't think she cared considering his irrationality. |

| If the container were an old refrigerator, Dario could have stayed inside and survived the nuke to be the only survivor still in Raccoon City when the nuke hit.

I don't think anyone here does, at least not directly. |
