Subject: Does anyone else listen to Rammstein? Fri Mar 01, 2013 3:32 pm
Rammstein is my favourite band, and has been for a number of years. Does anyone else on here listen to them?
In case you don't know who they are: Rammstein is an alternative metal band based in Germany. They were formed in the early 90's and since then they have performed in nearly every country across the globe. They are best known for their pyrotechnic live performances and questionable lyrics, I guess you could say. All of their lyrics are in German, but even if you don't speak or understand German you can still enjoy their songs. They are definitely different than any other band you will ever listen to, which is another reason why I like them.
I am so sad I missed them when they last toured North America. I don't know when they will do a tour like that again.

I might check them out sometime. I watched a tribute to William Birkin on YT a long time ago, that used a Ramstein song. Which is actually why I didn't really like it so much.
Maybe I'll look them up on iTunes.

Hmmm... Please ignore the last thing I said. I wasn't wearing my glasses and didn't have my contacts in when I posted. I for some reason thought that "Rammstein" said "Rasmus". I feel very stupid now.

Hells yeah, I used to listen to them a lot back around 2004-05. Their album Reise, Reise is still incredible to this day. I haven't heard their most recent effort though.

Same here, around that time. Last cd I bought from them was Live aus Berlin, haven't heard any of their new stuff either.

I liked them a lot when I was still in... high-school, I think? Amerika was the shit back then.
Nowadays I hardly ever listen to their music unless a song I still have on my computer comes up with shuffle.
