Lan Di considers Ryo to be an annoyance, an obstacle as Ryo is intefering with Lan Di's plans by battling/disrupting factions that Lan Di his dealings with - the Yellow Head and Mad Angels.

So,, It all starts out in 2016, with a new president being elected. Shortly after, a virus hits, and kill a third of the worlds population almost al at once. The rise in almost 30 minuts, and panic ensues. The most infected was Asia, then the Western United States. The least infected being rural areas, the U.K., Australia, and then Russian being the least infected. Scientists figure that the virus is only open to two third of the world; they are either already zombies, or peoplele infected after contact with the undead. The others are completely immune, but can still be killed by mass hoards of zombies. Also, after a few months, a few people say theyve been "Gifted", or, in other terms, have developed ways toalter the virus to gain special abilities, that are tracked by tribal like tattoos on the right arm (or dominant arm, also like a RPG style experiance system ala infamous and Bioshock-ish) So, this man named Alec Williams, gets an anonymous tip after a month or so of scavanging for information on the virus, and goes to a abonded warehouse in NYC to gather the said files, all he finds is a bomb, and barely escapes unscathed. From there, all he has is a M1860 (double barrel shotgun, custom) a small reserve of ammo, and the will to survive. But as this is going on, the president plans to "Contain" a mass infection in NYC, via a Raccoon style bombing. Only military and police are informed, and are told to evacuate. Alec finds an infected cop, who has very little time left, and a radio...so far, his only way to escape is a train, but its outside of NYC, and he's got 30 minutes.
