| Hey guys. I noticed something. The GC version (on normal) seems to allow Leon to survive many more bites than the PSX version (on normal). Is this the case? |

That's because the original PS1 (PSX was a PS1/PS2/media station hybrid that was released in Japan only) normal mode was actually set basically to the level of a Hard mode.
The Japanese Hard mode is the exact same as our Normal and the Japanese normal was exact same to our easy.
To sum it up PAL and NTSC ports of Resident Evil where set harder than the biohazard version, now as the GC version is a re-port it is most likely they have ported the setting styles of the PS1 Japanese version, if you get me ?

I would suggest Normal as it's best, I always play on Normal.
Easy if you want it to be a little easier.
The mode I like best is the PC's Hard mode or N64's Nightmare mode, now that's a challenge lol |

| I never played RE2 on PSX, I only played it on PS1 and GameCube. I will choose GameCube ofcourse it's more easier I guess |
