It's still one of the best FF games the new generation has to offer. And, to be fair, almost all FF games are totally different from each other. Also my friend who is quite prone to quit games because he gets bored did 100% in FFXII. That has to tell something. Anyway, I'll let him decide himself. |

| Nah, most FF games aren't that different from each other. Sure, they have a different universe, but the gameplay and even the story and personality of the characters are very alike in most FF games.. Especially IV - IX are very similar. XII, however, changes pretty much everything and is barely recognizable as a FF game. Awesome game, but very different.
Of course I let him decide for himself too, just giving him a bit of advice, since he asked for that. |

| Thanks for the recommendations guys - They're the games I'll check out first on the internet. I'll probably get a couple to try, if I don't like one I'll switch to the other and if I don't like that one I guess Final Fantasy isn't for me  |

And no, I haven't really experienced RPG's but there's alot of hype over Final Fantasy and it's been going on for some time so I thought surely it's worth a shot?
Like I said previously I have no experience of the game, no idea what gameplay is like and no idea if I'd like it or not but I'm eager to try it! |

| Besides Resident Evil? I play Halo and pretty much anything platformer related like Mario, Crash Bandicoot and Rayman. |
