| Wow...the memories. I remember playing RE for the very first time. The dog jumping through the window got me every time I came to it. |

Yeah thats a tricky part until u get used to it... But the worst thing is camera... You cant see whats in front of u... |

Not knowing what was around the next corner was far more terrifying than what was actually there. Goes back to the old-school horror philosophy: "What you can't see is scarier than what you can see." |

| yeah most games these days are just shoot em' up...there is no real scare anymore unlike classic RE and SH |

| Great nastalgia! I still think RE1 (both original and remake) are the best applications of survival and horror (with RE0 a close second)...the Spencer Estate is the big scary haunted house that we all remember seeing in our hometowns somewhere as children...and like Ghost Leader already said the unknown lurking around the corner that you couldn't see until it was right on you was the scariest and IMO the best. Great scans! P.S....I got a little chuckle when I just caught the blurb at the bottom of the magazine cover: "Are 16-Bit Games Dead?" |
