It said that He was used to be Leon's Bestfriend. He was replaced by Robert Kendo and I wonder why.

He looks like the guy from Silent Hill: Shattered Memories a little bit. lol

I didnt know him that much. It said that he was Leon's Besfriend and he apparently died RE 1.5 I don't know why the cause of his death. He is also one of the supporting characters of Elza.

I guess so, Maybe something like that. He is also supporting characters of Umbrella Employee, Who's name is Linda that replaced by Ada Wong. They were three of them, Roy [DJ], Linda and Elza, they got all replaced by Robert Kendo, Ada Wong and ofcourse Claire Redfield.

I always thought that they started to replace those other two characters after
Elza.

Because he was cut from the game he might as well have never existed.

I'm a Kendo supporter, so yeah thankfully roy got dropped.
He looks more like a reporter or that, rather than a RPD officer.
I wish they gave Kendo a longer role like they where going to in the RE1.5 Beta testing.
Infact he was in the 1.5 alpha test as well.
Linda was replaced as she was just a regular umbrella employ.
Annette kind of took that role even though she was a head researcher.
Capcom felt Linda was too basic and wanted to spice her up and thus Ada arose.
Ada was a perfect character for RE2 and it makes sense because they tied her into RE2 by using John from RE1 to build a background story for her.
Elza was pretty decent character but she was too "Akira" biker style.
Claire was a hot young Harley owner, she was a true biker and making her Chris's brother IMO strengthened the RE storyline and let it progress as far as it has come just now.
Leon's Alpha character was pretty bad because it was basically just a character based of chris and I like Leon on in RE2, he was a cool guy.

If you want to see a strange character list look up Capcom's first character list for the original Resident evil.
You will all be shocked.
Some of you may know about them already, I'm pretty sure Mass does because we had a conversation about them ages ago.

Over here in the UK for some reason our nations slogan "Keep calm and carry on " in letters with the majesty's crown above the letters
is a big hit right now in clothing and people making up posters or wearing t-shirts with made up slogans like "keep drinking and get wasted" etc
I found a red T-shirt that has the foxhound logo above the letters and said "keep calm and call otacon"
This is literally the best print t-shirt I have every bought.
It is so bad ass, It gets a lot of attention in groups, people are always like aw man thats sweet !

and maybe the replaced because they decided they didn't need anymore long term characters in RE2. Then again if that were true, they could have just killed him off in the end. So I don't know. ha

Not exactly. As you can see in the concept art, both Leon and Roy are present.

They ended up killing away a couple of other supporting characters like Robert and Marvin so that theory is completely plausible. They propably just didn't want the roster to become too cluttered.
