i never played re3 but my parents did when i was little so who is this so called nicholai?

its some dude that was working together with umbrella
and was sent in a rescue mission to rescue civilians in raccon city
even do he achually never did rescued anyone,because he just wanted to
serve his own purposes

his fate is unknow,there are different scenarios in the game
in one wich he dies

I think playing Resident Evil 3: Nemesis should be mandatory.

And Nicholai is alive according to the Archives book.

Yeah what chris just said.
He was a umbrella commanding officer controlling a team of U.B.C.S mercenaries.
At first he seems like a legit commander but he back stabs his team mates and is only drafted into raccoon by umbrella to collect actual battle data from nemesis and other BOW's.
The other members like carols are just mindless pawns in umbrellas plans to see how nemesis and BOW's fair against umbrellas elite mercenaries. Pretty much like battle hardened guinea pigs.
Nicholai even kills two other U.B.C.S within resident evil 3 which you get to see because they had found out his and umbrellas true motives.
The archives tell of him still being alive and RE archives are cannon so yeah I'm guessing he will still be alive.
Just need to wait and find out how Capcom will use him in future instalments

yeah,also nicholai achually tried to murder jill and carlos
but failed at it,but he still achually killed another two of his team members

He also appears in Outbreak, commanding a group of UBCS members during "Operation: Emperor's Mushroom" trying to get a blood sample from a tyrant called Thanatos.

Nicholai Ginovaef, a U.B.C.S Merc(supposedly) working for an unknown person/organization under "Operation Watchdog" to collect combat data from B.O.W's throughout the outbreak, a TRADER, basically.. killing his own men and basically being a douche and royal pain in Jill and Carlos's asses the whole game.
