Has anyone ever seen this before? I think it's really interesting.
Here's some gameplay of it too, it uses the same combat system as Gaiden.....but shittier. lol

That's an interesting find. Don't think I've ever encountered this one before.

I've seen this ROM before. Didn't think somebody had actually went and made a bootleg cartridge of it. The battle system looks like a toned down version from Gaiden. Would be nice to own, though.

My guess is that Chris' scenario is the Hard mode, like in every other version of RE1.

After some research, it seems that while this is not an actual release from Capcom (duh) it has been an "official" release from some unrelated company in China.
Moreso, it seems like the ROM is really hard to find. I found one but it keeps crashing. If anyone happens to find a working version I'd like to try it.

Well you can try this rom (if you haven't gone here yet). I usually get all of my roms at romhustler and they usually work. Sorry for not testing it for you cause I'm on my ps3 and I don't have an nes emulator. http://romhustler.net/rom/nes/160/bio-hazard

Oh, that's interesting. They actually used Gaiden's sprites.

Oh the nostalgia for a good old game with the original pixels. Think I'll go play one right now.
I'm also browsing around for this game now, I'm eager to give it a whirl.

Thank you. The ROM is still prone to crashing but at least I'm able to play it a little further.

So it seems. I wonder why they didn't use Barry's sprites for, you know, Barry.
Btw. Thanks Sarge for the ending clip. It's nearly impossible to finish the ROM version since what I've read there doesn't seem to be a version that wouldn't crash. Well, unless you get the real copy and I'm guessing those are rather rare.

No problem, and I'm going to start searching for a copy of one.
