| So. Uhm. So. I only have 4 RE games. And they are REmake, CVX, Outbreak and RE5. I really want everyone's opinion on what RE games I should get next. I do love RE and I feel left out because I haven't played the most loved ones. Or something. Like for example, RE2 and RE3 and RE4. I am so ashamed. Yeah.. |

| Nite would be proud if you stay with just those games, *trollface...
You should play the main series first, zero isn't THAT important, but 2 and 3 are...
then you should play 4 and if you have a ps3 wait till the chronicles games come out |

| Awwww don't be ashamed. Some of those are hard to find, and when you do find them people sometimes want an arm and a leg for them. Me personally I'd suggest getting RE3: Nemesis if you can. If you can't find it for Playstation at a decent price the Gamecube version sells fairly cheaper. |

| Oh I'm scared they will be over priced. I know I found Zero and RE4 for Gamecube, they were at a VERY good price. And I might get RE4 on Xbox. Is there like two different RE3's or am I tripping. |

| Get 0 and 4 ASAP. Then get RE2. If you can, get RE3, but after securing those. |

| You haven't played RE2??! THIS IS MADNESS!!!! I'm kidding. I say get them all really. Because they are all fantastic games. Plus, they're really cheap now. As for RE3, it had 3 ports. PS, Dream Cast and PC. |

Don't forget the Gamecube one. Although they're all the same except for some graphics enhancements |

| Its hard to find those games nowadays. Get the RE2, RE3 and RE4. Just get them before they're run out of stock. Cause here In our Country RE2 and RE3 are really hard to find, I am lucky that I still have it for my PS1. Don't worry they're not that expensive. Goodluck. ;3 |

Not really. Well unless you want a physical copy, most of the old RE games except REmake and 0 are on PSN and maybe XBL. Not to mention there's roms as well. |

| Don't be. I only have 0, REmake, 4, UC, 5, and ORC. I haven't even touched on RE2, 3, or CVX.
Doesn't mean I know the games and love the series though.
My next recommendation would be 4. It's what really got me into the series in the first place because it really departed itself from the RE Universe, having next to nothing to do with Umbrella and having an easier control scheme than its predecessors. Back in 2005, this game was the game that hailed the new era of the Next Generation of gaming which inspired Gears of War, Dark Sector, Dead Space, and even the latest Batman games. It's on nearly every console, so there's no excuse not to own it.
0 was my first game, but I beat 4 before 0. |

0 was my first game, but I beat 4 before 0. The control scheme was the same. It was a new camera, both for aiming and just the rest of the time too. Otherwise I know how you've defended RE4, fabulously, so that's all I got to say about that. |

| I'd say you should be doing RE2 before any of the others. Then you can experience the story of Claire / Leon / Ada first hand before moving onto CVX and RE4. It will also give you a feel for Raccoon City before completing RE3.
While RE0 is an awesome game I'd probably place it last on the list unless you're a big fan of Becky.
Then move onto the Chronicle games once you have all the story behind you (even though you probably already do if you're a RE fan) |

The stuff with Wesker and Birkin is actually what had prompted me to play RE0. I wasn't interested in it at all at first. |

Thank you for that. But are you sure? I know that shooting and doing stuff is the same, but I guess the aiming and the over the shoulder view really does make the game feel like the controls are different. Turning to walk where I wanted my characters to go was a problem for me when I first started playing 0, and I never had that problem in 4.. Maybe because I got use to the.. No.. Argh. My head. It's too late in the night to think. Listen, bottom line Meth: I got my friend to play RE4 for the first time, this is her first RE game and I believe I got her hooked. I'm going to invite her to the forums after she's beaten it. |

You still press all the same buttons for the same actions. R to aim, A to shoot. Y for inventory, Hold B for running, Z for map, etc. And as far as movement goes, you press Up for going forward and Down for going backward, it's still "tank-like", just like with RE1, people overlook that when they go on an RE4 bashing spree. I honestly want the RE controls to ALWAYS be tank like. I'm serious. It's still tank-like in RER, but also allows you to hold L for strafing, which comes in super handy when aiming or reloading, and was also something that we had seen in Outbreak File#2 and DA. Basically, keep the controls as RE as possible, especially leaving them tank like, but also keep them improving, like they have. As I've said, the controls were pitch perfect in RER. |

| Right, so I might write up a conclusion on this.
I know I can get Zero easily and RE4 on Gamecube. I was thinking of buying them so they are secured. As for RE2 and RE3. They are still pissing away out of my reach. If I had my own PS3, I am sure to be owning them by now.
Tonight I will hunt for RE2. |

Tonight I will hunt for RE2. Amazon.com is a good place to find Resident Evil games, but they can run kinda high. EBay is similar but from what I've bought from there I've got nothing bad to speak of as of yet. The Sellers I've bought off of have had the games in very good condition, original cases, manuals still intact, and not a scratch on the disks. Sometimes you can get lucky and find someone who is selling really cheap and is just ready to let it go. Good luck on your hunt! |

| A little update guys, I recently bought RE4 (Collector's Edition) -- Don't get all chirpy, cause I only have the Metal Case, Disc and Manual and that's it. I don't even know if anything else is suppose to go with it but whatever. I got it for £8.00. |
