They so copied this!

In RE5 when you fight that giant spider thing when you search the computers for jill on the rotation platform they so copied that from Gears of War 2 when you battle the giant locust fish. In Gears 2 when you fight the locust fish you throw a grenade into its mouth to defeat it. Same with RE5 when you throw a grenade in the giant spiders mouth.

Anyone noticed before or not?

well they were released with in a few months of each other so im not too sure

And in the movie Conair, Nicholas Cage blows something up and just walks away without looking at it...And in Iron Man, Robert Downey Jr. blows a tank up and walks away from it without looking at it!!! They soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo copied Conair!!!! Like...OMG!!!!

Sigh. Saying they copied it is dumb. It's like saying Fable copied Lord of the Rings because they both involve swords.

If I see two thing that are alike in games I just dismiss it...it will not make me dislike a game or movie for that matter

I think that was an alright think to point out James....although I haven't played Gears 2...or the first, so I can't imagine, but that is something alright...

Spike, you are making it look like I thought it was dumb that he even brought it up. I only thought it was dumb that he accused Capcom of copying Epic.

Maybe thats why in Lost Planet 2 it has Marcus and Dom, because I have to admit though i don't mind it Re5 had like 2 things from Gears 2 (a laser beam and this new thing Jamesy has picked up on)

Yeah maybe. Didn't RE5 come out before Gears 2 though?

If wiki is to be believed, Gears 2 was out nearly half a year before RE5.

Gears 2 was released on November 7 2008 so yes about a half year before RE5
