Best Zombie Movie

Dawn of the Dead, Zombies with Guns, Shaun of the Dead, Day of the Dead

I'm going with Day of The Dead. It was one and imo still is the most gruesomest zombie flick I've watched.

Sooo true. Also the story concept is great.

Yet again, I have to ask: Day of the Dead original or remake?

Damn remakes making it hard to know what people are talking about...

The original Day of the Dead. I didn't like the remake one bit.

The remake is sucks.

I love Zombieland. They had to cut so much from the original film in the editing room. I am looking forward if they do end up actually having a sequel. And usually zombie movies with sequels suck. 28 Weeks is just horrible.

But Night of the Livig Dead is just classic. I can watch it over and over and over and over and over and over and over—-...

I liked 28 weeks later. And 28 day's later. I keep on thinking there's a 28 month later?

How come they had to cut so much from the original?

Sadly no, the developers are still in a dispute and the movie has been sent to production hell. Hopefully one day they settle up and make it or at least sell the rights to someone willing to.

Zombieland cut anything and everything from the initial shoot to prevent the story from going off track, and when you're talking about Zombieland, there's a lot to explore. So the final tally was about 30 minutes cut from the film. There were even rules that were cut too.

I wonder why they haven't gone for the original cut version for the dvd/bluray?

The original Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead for me.

Dawn of the Dead remake was amazing. One of the best remakes I've seen.

I don't remember watching Dawn of the Dead. Hmmm.

It was. And if you pay attention, they tipped their hat off to Night of the Living Dead in the beginning of the movie.
