Graphics change

I wonder what the next RE games graphics will look like? maybe reaaal

Depending on when the game comes out it could look slightly better, or alot better. It all depends on if the next gen of consoles is released before the game come out.

Like the xbox 720 or PS4 (?) Capcom is saying that it could be at least 6 more years for the next game, so by then we will have next-next-gen consoles.

I dont think that Graphics can go better than they are here... Only FPS / system optimizing will be better...

Now I think the next goal should be virtual reality, as you are right, graphics have almost reached their optimum (don't know if that makes any sense?)

I think that this is the virtual limit of graphics but then again I could be wrong...stay tuned I guess

Graphics can get better. Games like Mercenaries and Grand Theft Auto and the new MAG PS3 exclusive are so big that the graphics have to be cut back. Improved hardware will improve software so game can look like Uncharted and be as big as GTA. Virtual reality is kind of on the back burner though. There's really no way to do it right.

Yeah, graphics can be better... But imagine how big would game be... For example GTA IV... Big game, optimal graphics... 16GB...

Yes, but storage capacity keeps getting cheaper and bigger. It won't be long until hard drives use terabytes instead of gigabytes. Everything progresses steadily to keep up with everything else. It's like they are all connected. If one thing lags behind, everything else becomes useless. It's the circle of life I suppose.

Yeah but do we really need something better than crysis for example? Good graphics, only few optimizations so lower level PCS can run it too...

PC gaming is an expensive habit. Even more so than console gaming. But high end PC gaming stays at about the same price. What used to be 150$ is now 99$ for example. It's not like in a few years everything is going to be so much better graphically that it is going to cost thousands and thousands of dollars to play. Get what I'm saying?

Uhm... Its way cheaper than console... Esp. cos you dont need to buy original stuff... And if you EVENTUALLY get banned its just 1 game, not all games you won... and thats like EVENTUALLY...
