| Sorry if I got your hopes up but no, I do not have any new information. Most upcoming stuff we already know of, namely Resident Evil: The Stage on DVD, Resident Evil Zero HD, REmake 2, Umbrella Corps, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter (the movie) and the as of yet unnamed CG movie coming in 2017. HOWEVER! Revelations' producer Masachika Kawata has given statement that this year we will be seeing "many interesting announcements". Given that it is RE's 20th birthday, we could be in for some interesting stuff indeed. Now, the reason why I'm making this. I want to hear your serious speculations on what they might be revealing this year. RE7 is probably a given but we know literally nothing of its contents so anything is possible. Speculate away! Oh, and here's the article: [link] |

I would be okay with this. I am not sure what all new news we will get. I am pretty excited about what we have so far. I am curious about re7. |

| As much as I like Gaiden the main reason we most likely will never hear of it again is that it is completely non-canon. I did have my hopes up after the first Revelations reveals that it would have been a Gaiden sequel. - Bulls-3ye wrote:

A few years ago Capcom held a survey in which they asked what titles we'd like to see again from their old franchises, and Outbreak was one of the options. So even if unlikely, it still hasn't been completely forgotten. They even had a few references to Outbreak during the RE0HD viral campaign, with mentions of escaped and zombified animals from the zoo to mention one. |

http://middleofnowheregaming.com/2016/01/07/rumor-resident-evil-outbreak-hd-in-development-release-tbd-2016/ Sweet! i sure hope that's for real, Outbreak is the series that most deserves a second chance. Speaking of which what other RE spin-off series or game woul you like to see again. Survivor and Chronicles. Just combine them already! It's a perfect match! Agreed, but would it be on rails or a self guided fps/light gun hybrid thing?. I would be okay with a rail shooter. Survivor Chronicles. Just think about it. |

| What about a RE style MMO in an open world spanning the entirety of the Arklay mountains, All of Raccoon city and it's substructures!? IE subways, sewers and the umbrella labs!?
EDIT: I think i mentioned this here before come to think of it. Actually... you know what i'm just going to bang out a video on this for the hell of it lol. Purely speculative obviously. I'll drop it here and in the video subsection for anyone interested once it's up tomorrow. |

There actually is an MMO developer working with Capcom right now looking to work with one of their franchises. One of the games on that list happens to be Resident Evil. Of course, just because they mostly develop MMOs doesn't mean that they'd only make MMOs. http://mmoculture.com/2016/01/monster-hunter-online-tencent-will-work-with-capcom-on-other-games/ |

Had to play the entire game again to get the good one, just because one arbitrary choice that wasn't even apparent you could make. I like that there were multiple endings again but... not like this. At least the game makes up with the amount of content. So, what are you expecting from RER3 or RE7? |

So, what are you expecting from RER3 or RE7? Cant say i look forward to playing it again just for the good ending but it is what it is. I'm just hoping they don't turn them into cod style shooters with no focus on horror or survival, saying that all im hoping for at the moment is that they don't screw up the RE2 remake. You expecting big things? |

| I don't think we'll get anything big until 2018. That'd be the 20 year anniversary of the Raccoon City Outbreak. That's the perfect opportunity to introduce new characters that haven't experienced BOWs and not being experienced with whatever career choice they're in. I'm probably in the minority here, but I liked Resident Evil 6's multi campaign story. It made things feel bigger, and it allows the "Hero of another story" trope. With 7 following that plotline, it would allow us to see what both old and new characters are doing at once. |

Honestly, anything RE related (that isn't Umbrella Corps) is big news for me. - Nobudy wrote:

I enjoyed RE6's multiple campaigns too. I just hope that if RE7 does the same thing the story would be a bit more consistent. Maybe have just two longer campaigns and a bonus campaign or something. |

| I have to say, with as much as people grilled RE6... i found it entertaining for what it was. Needless to say i'm a classic fan and never liked the action turn the series made. But it was fun and the story stuck with me a bit. Leons campaign was definitely my favorite... i never traded in my 360 copy so that says at least something i suppose.
But then again i'm a diehard fan, as much as i dislike the action style i have all the games and i find pleasure in each one in at least some capacity. But nothing beats the classics. |

I like the multiple campaigns too. it helps to give the story a more epic sense of scale. And it also gives them the opportunity to have more varied types of gameplay. It doesn't always work (Gears of Redfield) but it's still a good idea with alot of potential. I thought Revealations handled it very well, the two stories wove together nicely. Speaking of which since we just had RER 2 i'm expecting RE7 to be released next. I imagine they'll alternate between the two, unless they start a third series!. |

I imagine they'll alternate between the two, unless they start a third series!. Instead of starting a new series I would prefer them to go back to one of their previous series'. Just hoping Umbrella Corps doesn't become a series of its own. Kinda makes me wonder if that is what the rumored "Operation Terrestial Fear" eventually became. |
