New costumes confirmed for RE0HD. In addition to the already announced Cody and Nurse outfits for Billy and Rebecca, respectively, that are available as pre-order bonuses Rebecca will also be getting her basketball uniform seen in that one photo in RE2 and her alternate STARS uniform from Director's Cut. Kinda surprised the latter wasn't used in REHD.

As further costume news, apparently Rebecca's battle suit from the Wesker mode can also be unlocked for the main game.


And lastly, the three shirts from the T-shirt contest Capcom held a while back can be unlocked.


That's a lot of costumes for one character in one game, yo. As far as the shirts go, I'm especially liking the third one. And after finding a picture that also shows the backside of them all, I decided they are all awesome.

If they made real life versions of those, I would so buy the Jill Sandwich one.

Next-gen/current gen graphics are 1000000000000000000000000x better than Gamecube graphics (which still look nice, BTW.)

I actually think I remember them saying the almost completely remodeled Rebecca. It seems that Billy has gone through a hell of a facelift too.

That is really good news. REmastered performed better than expected also. If Resident Evil 2 performs better than expected than we could likely see resident evil 3 and maybe even Code Veronica get the same treatment someday.

In truth, I don't think Code Veronica really needs to be remade. IMO, the graphics still stand up quite well even today. Not that I wouldn't welcome it if it did happen and was done in keeping with the original's spirit, of course.

Code Veronica definitely looks better than the original trio. I guess due to not being numbered, a lot of people skipped out on for it's initial release. With all of the remakes and remasters coming in so strongly, if they actually did remake it, a small marketing effort could be made to really draw in those who are soaking in the remakes as their first entry into the series.

To add on what you said though, this same thing could probably be done with a re release of the existing version. The graphical downgrade may be a turn off to fans who are coming in on this remake/remastered wave though.

The HD version of Code: Veronica already looks really good and is a definite improvement on the old PS2 version. The HD version will do just fine.

How well did the HD version do when it was brought to the PS3 and 360? (I think it also went to the 360?) I never heard any news other than that it was available. I think one of the major points that helped REmastered do so well was bringing it to Steam.

I think it did okay. It was marketed with RE4HD and even released bundled with it in Japan. It was also part of the RE6 Archives on 360 and in a couple of series collections in Japan. It also got fairly good reviews.

Oh right! I forgot it was bundled. That's interesting. They may not have had enough confidence at the time to release it in the same fashion as the remasters as of late. It would be interesting to see how it would perform as a solo release in comparison.

Well it is still available seperately, of course. I get what you mean though, you can't really get clear sales figures with all the bundles in play.

I just pre-ordered re0 via Steam. If they keep this up, maybe I can get all of the main titles to my steam library.

I did some digging on Billy's costume because I knew it had to be a reference to something, just like every other outfit thus far. Rebecca's is obviously just her alterante outfit from Deadly Silence but Billy's "Wolf Force" outfit is apparently from the cover of Senjo no Okami II, which translates to Wolf of the Battlefield II.


The game was released as Mercs outside of Japan but the cover art was changed, so this is quite a strange callout to an old series.

Digital Pre-Order bonus?


Usually, that means I can get it later.
