My website

As you guys might have seen in my intro i said i was working on a sony gaming community website, so it will be up for people to get on, so i was wondering if this site could show advertising support, and in return i would do the same. My site is pretty naked right now as far as banner and other graphic images because i want feedback from the community. Mass and Vandal What do you think?

I honestly have been thinking about the whole site advert thing for a while now. Our rules forbid the promoting of any other Resident Evil related forum but since you have a thing of your own it's all cool.

Now that I reread the rules I notice there is a mention of getting to be an affiliate but that, I'm afraid, is something that should be discussed with the site's owner, Down. Sadly his appearances are rarer than finding a shiny Mew.

Vandal is better in the whole technical side of this website so he should know if a site advert thing is even possible here.

Yea i noticed that in the rules, and since my site isnt directly resident evil then its not breaking any rules.
Is there a way to contact down outside of this site?
Also if we did become partner sites i would be able to link this site at the bottom of mine. I would very much like this community to be involved.

Personally, I think this rule is kind of hypocritical on Down's part because he advertises, or at least used to advertise, REF on other RE sites. I know, because it was an advert on an RE site me and a friend were running that initially brought me here.

Well i hope we can work with each other, its hard to do personal advertising, which I just started advertising my site on facebook, youtube etc.., with the admins approval i would like to make a post on here with the link and also put the link to this site on my own.
If need be it would be a pleasure to have help from the staff here to build.

Rank? We don't have any ranks apart from the post rank. He just knows more about the site's system than I do. I think I've said this before.

Yes you said it before but i didnt see the relevance that has to me posting a link to my site, and me putting a link on my site to yours. Just don't worry about it, vandal was on today and i dont have time to wait and get something approved, thanks for your time but don't worry about it.

Please understand, Down is the owner of the site and he has to give his okay on some things. If it was up to just me, Mass, and Vandal, I don't think there'd be any resistance to a working relationship between our sites.

I honestly don't mind if you merely link to your site on a thread or in your signature since it is, according to our very own rules, permitted. What I meant was that we can't do any advert linking without the site owner's permission.

I like the background and the colors, they are easy on the eyes.

There seems to be a small bug when waving your mouse over the "register" button, it makes the screen jump a bit. It might not be completely centered.

Other than that I don't really have much to add, it's a nice looking site. Nice job.

Btw. Where does the name FossilMachineGaming come from?

Maybe the pixel size of the button's image is slightly larger than the others? I've seen this "bug" on forums before a couple of times and that was the problem.

@Thanks mass feel free to actually make an account i would love your help, there will be a banner up soon and a new who online. As far as the name i just made it up, its the same as my youtube. But every time i say the name i think of a mechanical Trex holding a controller.


@Mass, Ghost, would one of you mind looking at the code for me then? So we can try and fix this bug, i looked but cant really see anything out of place.

Unfortunately the graphical side of things isn't my forte, what I'm most adept at is being a dick when it becomes necessary and ruling with an aluminum fist.

I've fiddled with HTML when I was in highschool. I would say that was the extent of my knowledge if I actually remembered something from those classes.

I wrote CSS code for this site, i just graduated high school a few months back so i remember a thing or two. Actually i'm going to be going to collage for journalism and web design so i can build my own video game journalist website and start my own business.

I see what you guys are saying about the register key, i just noticed theres a box around it and thats why the screen moves.
