Oh i'm right there with you, i've liked Anderson since Mortal Kombat and Soldier.
But even for me Afterlife and Retribution were pushing it.
I enjoyed Afterlife though for one reason...they named dropped my hometown.
Prince Rupert! it made are whole theater shout and cheer.

Hopefully Rising (The Final Chapter Sucks!) will be more like the first few.

I was quite hoping it was killed.

To be honest I'd rather have a "proper" conclusion to the series, despite how I really wouldn't want to watch another one.

Sadly, there are rumors that the movie series might continue as a TV-show :/

A tv series would actually be pretty awesome, if it revolved around game and had a real gritty horror drama to it, much like the walking dead.
They would have to get an amazing screeplay writing on the job though, I would hate to see Anderson try to make a TV series.
Infact if he did I would just stop watching TV forever, literally wont even turn my tv on ever again haha!!

Hate to bring you even more down but there was a show like that pitched at one point. I think it's dead now.

FORMULA FOR NEXT LIVE ACTION RESIDENT EVIL

Include Jovovich's onoxious voice over for ten minutes at the beginning, include giant size versions of classic RE monsters, Wesker is the president of the united states of zombie, maybe Krauser will show up, but rewritten as a hippie scientist who lost a leg after fighting in Iraq, and of course, Claire, Chris Jill, Wesker, Leon and anyone who isn't Alice will die horrible deaths. Leon will be wearing his RPD outfit for no reason, Claire and Chris will be recast looking exactly like their RE 2 and CV counterparts, except their faces which will either be another gender, race, or entirely CGI.

And the plot will include bad writing, terrible slowmo, pointless 3d and even a scene where Alice will singlehandedly kill the Ashfords, another tyrant, nemesis and Ozwell E Spencer (wo is now a puerto rican stewardess) with a spoon, at the same time while quipping kind of breaking the third wall about how she became rich off milking a franchsise she knew nothing about to elevate her status to sci fi queen.

I thinks you are rare about some things
obviously mila novovich was suppost to be the original Claire in resident evils 2
but than got substituted by real life persons

that's why she don't know the originals call of duty titles
return to the plants of original resident evils
