| Am I the only one who thinks that jakes campaign in RE6 was the best out of all three? It could have been because utansik segments though. It was fun and scary having that huge monster stalk you. Worst part of his campaign was having to get past all those gun men in the Chinese casino/palace Chris campaign was the worst and tediously hard but had the best ending in my opinion. Even though Leon's scenario brought the horror factor back I don't see what all the fuss was about regarding his campaign Honestly it felt like CAPCOM were trying to recreate re2 in his campaign and failed miserably at doing so. They made it very obvious indeed |

| Leon's campaign was okay but too easy with too much ammo given. Well, at least until the final battle(s).
Chris' campaign was pretty good but considering how much shooting it included there was too little ammo to be found. This is especially frustrating since this was the campaign where enemies dropping ammo would actually have made sense.
Jake's was okay. Ustanak was pretty boring with almost all interaction with him being through QTEs. At least you were able to take the edge off that crap with the grapple break skill.
Ada's I think was the best, apart from the pretty lame final boss. |

| Jakes was actually my least favorite in 6. It had a bunch of annoying gimmicks (the bat punching stealth section, shooting down helicopters, running from a tank, riding a snowmobile, riding a motorcycle, etc.) and the lack of freedom was even more annoying than in the other campaigns. Sometimes they force you to run from Ustanak, other times they force you to fight him. Then after all that time running, Jake fist fights him Alice style :/ I did like seeing Sherry return and exploring the mansion in Ch3 was nice until the tank showed up.
Chris' was pretty good at what it tries to do. I feel like this was where they put the most effort and QA into. The problem is that I'm not interested in playing more military shooters, and I definitely don't want RE to be like that. Surprisingly, the part with the snake actually felt like horror and the story was significantly better than the other campaigns.
Leon's campaign is overrated. I disagree with the claim that it brought the horror back as throwing zombies and dark environments into a fast paced action game does not make it horror. With how ubiquitous zombies are these days, they've become more like easy excuses to kill things without moral ramifications than actual creatures of terror, and they feel more like the former in RE6. It did make some efforts to please fans, but only in shallow, superficial ways. I felt like the constant references to old games only made it harder to appreciate it on its own merits since it kept reminding me that this is supposed to be a RE game. In most works I like references like that, but when I hear that cop say it's his first day on the job, all I think is "I could be playing a better game like RE2 right now." Also, Ch5 can go to hell.
Ada's was the most enjoyable for me, probably because it's specifically designed for single player. Ch5 was terrible again.
