I actually can't stand that show. That guy's voice is annoying and his "Mario is evil" video is really stupid. Like as if Nintendo intentionally makes Mario a womanizing, animal abusing, monster. I enjoy some his videos and they are to be taking in the comical sense, but I do agree the guy kind of annoys me. It's the whole putting way to much effort into stuff that is irrelevant, I mean people interpret different media and art in their own way but the guy is on par with the pretentious art figures that try to tell you the hidden meaning or what a certain painter was feeling when he painted the painting, maybe things are a certain way or style "just because", their doesn't need to be a meaning behind everything. Like if I were to use a certain color in my graphic designs it's because I felt like using it or it went well with the piece not because I was going through depression etc. Games are a certain way because they where intended to be that way, so why go through the pretentious effort to try and distort what is simply "just because". Some of his videos give you a different and fun perspective but almost all are just plain ridiculous story telling, like Mario being a communist and stuff.
Back on topic, I felt Resident Evil 5 delivered what it was intended to deliver, it may have had awkward game mechanics and the physics felt like as if Chris was about 1 tonne heavier when maneuvering, not to mention the camera controls where a little sub par and where prone to messing up a lot. But the graphics, storyline (probably the best out of all the series), lighting, level design and location was fantastic. I do feel it was a little action heavy and derived it's horror aspect from panic rather than terror but it was a great title to play regardless. Only the original's in the series delivered that horror experience that I so crave, the helplessness and vulnerability of being a survivor (yes the ammo was plentiful but it just had a way with horror that I can't quit put my finger on). It deserves to be were it is on sales because it was a brilliant title in the series, however I do still and always will claim that the original resident Evil where the best in the series. Resident Evil 2 was the highest seller in the series for overall single sales and if the gaming world was as populated as it is today then it would still be the highest selling RE title. Back in late 90's gaming was still a niche market, although it was gaining more popularity amongst the average person rather than just gamer's. The PlayStation broke into the home console market and got everyone on board with gaming and through brilliant and varied titles made sure that it catered to every age group and everyone's taste. It also started to disband the generalization that only nerdy teenagers where gamers, that whole generalizing is the reason the average person stigmatized the gaming world and the sole reason it was a pretty niche market before hand.

That's why the show has the word "theory" in the name. It's ironic how deeply you just interpreted the show about things being interpreted deeply and yet disagreed with the whole idea. |

| Well, to be fair, having a theory that Mario is a communist is probably the only time anyone has ever suggested that Mario is a communist. I did like his "Link is Dead" video, because it makes you think, but when he comes uo with outrageous videos like that, I have to wonder why he thought it was so important to put a video out on that.
Nintendo may have intentionally killed Link in Majora's Mask, but I doubt that Nintendo intentionally made Mario a womanizer. |

Because there's only so much you can do with plausible ideas so you have to dig deep and make up your own. I never take any of the videos from the dude seriously, it's just for fun. |

| I think that ORC didn't introduce RE6 to players, at least not on purpose, they were developed by two different teams in two different part of the world at the same time. |
