Distracted from resident evil?

With GTA 5 coming out recently have you been completely distracted from resident evil games?

I have my own copy of GTA 5 but it still does not stop me loving the resident evil series  

I tend to have that effect on people. What? This thread isn't about me? WHAT TRAVESTY IS THIS?!


Seriously speaking, it's not like the RE series is literally the only games I ever play or think of. I have lots of other games to play, not just GTAV.

Although I have been playing RE3 lately...

I haven't played a Resident Evil game in months, and I don't intend to. There are too many games out there that I need to play.

GTA V, and Final Fantasy XV is on my list. Hell yeah.

I mean, what Resident Evil is coming out anyway?

Revelations just came out, other than that it's just rumors of RE7. The Evil Within is by the creator of Resident Evil if that counts. I'm super psyched for that one.

I'm psyched for the Evil Within, but Capcom is not doing the series justice. I beat Revelations twice on my 3DS. I'm not remotely excited about RE7 rumors anymore. Not after the fail of RE6

They need to tie up plot holes and find a way to stop Umbrella for good. Maybe with a BOW Factory Blacklist from an abandoned Umbrella Factory...

I actually really loved RE6, it's my second favorite of the series. Favorite being 4.

This strikes me as a really odd topic, as if Resident Evil is something one is obligated toward.

More to the point, I dropped RE after RE5 and have no intention of picking it up again, so being "distracted" from it is no issue as I wasn't paying attention to it in the first place. The reason I'm still here is because I like the company of Mass, Miss Claire, Vandal, Meth, and such.

Interesting, well I still love Resident Evil and would pick up RE7 on release day if it was announced. Either way I'm glad you stick round, good to have more people.

Awww I love ya Ghost. Well back to the topic as of mine I am really not that distracted or anything. But I don't feel playing Resident Evil right now. I need a break from it somehow, once in a while. But that doesn't mean I didn't like the series anymore. I mean come on there is many new games out there that we should try.

Oh I'm very distracted from the series thanks to GTA V:)  hence me not being here as much.

Not at all, with more and more work been added to Distant Memories and with it been October soon i'll be starting my play-through's of the old games again (including Remake and Zero) I do this every year so my mind is always fresh.
