Why was Jill not in RE6?

After Wesker's death in 2009 did Jill Valentine quit the BSAA or something? Given that she and Chris did so much together while working for the BSAA such as the queen zenobia incident and tracking down spencer you would have thought Jill would be Chris Redfield's partner in RE6?


Why do you think Jill was not working with Chris in Eastern Europe or when he travelled to China with Piers in RE6????

I don't think she's quit. Jamesy Capcom already stated even before they release Resident Evil 6 that Jill Valentine is not there.

Fair enough but do you think Jill has found a new partner to work with in the BSAA or something?  Strange also that Jill did not go looking for Chris with Piers when he lost his memory.  Besides Chris made tons of effort to search for her when she went crashing through the window with wesker in LIN so surely Jill would also do the same for him right?

Because she was just in RE5, for one thing. Besides, she's probably still on medical leave and the higher ups don't want to throw her in so soon and lose someone with her level of experience.

i say she was still getting debriefed by the gov about all the unseen things wesker made her do who know who he had her kill and what not

I do find it weird that she was not even mentioned in RE6. Maybe RE7, who knows.

As for the whole "new partner" thing, wasn't she already partnered with someone other than Chris in Revelations anyway.

Maybe since in RE5, in a Document found after beating the game, it states that she has naturally developed a cure to T-Virus, and if the government found out about this...

Umm... This has been something that happened after RE3. Besides, if the government found about this then what? Sherry seems to be doing just fine if you ask me and she has an immunity towards G-virus. On top of that, T-virus is obsolete nowadays.

Hey, blame Capcom. Chris has been Jill's knight in shining armor since Resident Evil 1. And damsels in distress don't save their knights (unless you are Claire and Steve; they have a unique relationship).

Well actually agree with mass its kinda weird, that after what Chris and Jill went through she was not even mentioned in RE 6, like when Chris got lost, she never even tried to look for him, even Sheva is mentioned to be offering her help in searching for Chris and that she has a huge respect for him. Chris and Sheva went through one mission together, when Jill and Chris have been doing that for more than decade. Im pretty sure that there will be a lot of explanation done in RE 7 (if either Chris or Jill, or both will be in it). And if im not mistaken Claire is not mentioned there right? ? ?

Specifically in Chris Ch2/Jake Ch1 and Jake ch2. Even then, her name pops up here and there in some files.

Yeah, Chris is about the only character that was not entirely ruined in 6.  Still, I am glad Jill didn't come anywhere near that game - which, of course, doesn't mean she won't get tossed into the seventh game which can be worse then 6. Yes, I lost all faith in Capcom. If it wasn't for Revelations which were solid, I wouldn't have even bother with RE and forums such as these. I just want some of the quality back. Some. The game definitely misses horror, though the action part of the game was done perfectly and the game itself looked pretty good, yes i could agree that it was too much based on the taste of the newer generation of gamers, but as they are promising the 7 title will be much more Hor Sur style, i mean they can be trusted, cs Revelations was pretty good and scary, so you never know, the 7th title might be suitable for both older and younger generation.

^Scary? No; Intense? Yes. I actually liked how Revelations had more of a focus on sound. If only the dodge system was a little better.

Before, the yellow and blue logo at the beginning of the game would mean you were playing a quality product. Now, it's hard enough for Capcom to decide on a direction in which they want to take their games. They have no focus, and their talent is divided on projects. Even the upmost important projects like DMC and Resident Evil.
