Chronology of Resident Evil games

Hello
There may have been a thread talking about this and I would love to be redirected there but I would want to avoid the risk of spoilers. 
Can you please tell me the games that are canon and not. I also want to know where Capcom's CGI movies fit in. 
I would be absolutely thrilled to play the resident evil series as I have only played a few.

The main timeline consists of all canon entries and all additional story has been touched upon in the following sections.

I guess I should mention there's one small spoiler for RE3 but that was necessary to explain how it coincides with RE2. Otherwise, I just wrote down where everything goes in the timeline, nothing more. One other thing that should be mentioned is that Confidential Report has never been acknowledged in main canon but since there's a definite date for it I added it to the timeline.

I believe you're either missing Revelations or I'm reading it wrong.

Missing Revelations? You mean my list? No, I definitely am not. It's marked at 2005, just after RE4. Speaking of, is there a more definite date for it?

That's a pretty BEAST chronology timeline you got there Mass.

And I do believe we had a timeline for all of the events in the storyline somewhere, although I won't be committing myself to the task of locating it. It's probably lost in the horizon of a Black Hole.

Archives has a good and detailed timeline, I may post it eventually. But not with this stupid new posting format.
