Yes, but that's DLC. I know you're trying to defend RE5, but it wasn't a hot game in my view. In fact, that could be because I'm rather anal about what I view as a horror game and whatnot.

I wasn't really trying to defend the game, per se. More like, I was trying to defend the files contained withing the game and in the end, you couldn't even play LiN without RE5.

Well, survival horror in Resident Evil has been trumped in favour of action, so there's your answer.

I've watched about a quarter of Revelations. I already know roughly what happens in it, but I wanna first hand play it anyway, so I just watched a little.

It looks like an impressive game. I like the bit where you temporarily have no guns.

There was some night in the game. Some.

Not as exciting though, I don't feel particularly vulnerable in a jeep with big guns in the back.

LIN and Revelations should be the direction the RE series should take. But RE6 was a good game. And in re4 you would drop down a stairwell like 50ft and leon would be awesome to keep running.

The bell tower in the village and the huge thing in the middle of the Waterworld stage come to mind. Jump down from those and your legs will be crushed.

Leon running up a wall like a jillion feet to evade lasers is minor shit. Most def.

The laser scene was crazy indeed
about as unrealistic as the boulder scene

They should have delivered more with RE5. I guess LIN kind of made up for it? Ish.

But to be honest, realistic physics isn't really the style of Resident Evil. People are meant to jump 50 feet and survive- because why not?

It is law that a majority of Characters have superpowers, even if they're human. Wot.

But Tomb Raider is kind of realistic, and it shows Lara in a lot of pain at the beginning, then she kind of sucks it up more. One can only wish for RE.
