finally took the plunge and bought it, found it new for £99 on ebay +£5 p+p, i must be mad, thats the most ive ever paid for a book , mind you i think i got a good deal as ive seen one for £169 on amazon, oh well least thats the most expensive item off my list!!

I've looked for it now on amazon and stuff and it is quite expensive. I would get it but I'm trying to save for RE5 right now. After that I'll hopefully have at least a weekend job so I can quickly scrape together the 100$ I'd need for it.

my archives came in the post today, awesome book, i darent touch it much though as its brand new!!gotta find somewhere that sells protective sleeves

Digging this thread up because apparently you can get one in good condition for $35 on Amazon nowadays. Thankfully so, since I wasn't going to pay 80 quid for one. Yes, there was the double pack which made the prices go down for a while but after it ran out of print too the prices went up again. In any case, it seems the price is back to acceptable.

I still have to pay over 50, though, since delivery rates are a bitch for foreign customers. But hey, at least it's not that PLUS the delivery rates anymore.

As an aside, I wonder if we'll ever get Archives Volume 3. The second volume ended with RE5 and Degeneration and we've gotten a whole bunch of new canon content in the series ever since, namely RE6, both Revelations titles and Damnation. Maybe after RE7, because they only released vol.2 after two new numbered titles since the first volume.

I think I'd actually prefer an Archives 3 over a new game at this point. However, the problem is that a majority of the material from the first two Archives books come from the information in the supplemental material sections of the Japanese guides, something we never normally get in English. I have all the Jap guides and Biohazard Revelations, Bio 6 and Revelations 2 have very little in the way of extra supplemental material, and because of this I'd say the chances of a third Archives compendium would be slim because the material doesn't already exist.

Wait, you don't have either of the Archives books? Amazon is currently your best choice.

Thanks for bringing this back up Mass. I have been wanting the archives for a while. The price was a little more than I could justify paying for a while.

I'll sell mine for $5,000 USD each. Any takers?
