Big Debate - Best & Worst Resident Evil cover arts?

Alright guys, just here to get some opinions from everybody who wants to join in!
There are 2 questions involved in this thread, really simple.

1. What is the best Resident Evil cover art in your opinion?
and
2. What is the worst Resident Evil cover art in your opinion?

There are no right or wrong answers here. The cover arts can be spread across all formats, so books, games DVD cases, Blu-Ray cases, etc. They can also include special/limited edition covers, standard retail covers...doesn't matter.
They can also be from any region too! So Japan, North America, Asia or European.
And if you can, post a picture of them both so everyone can get an idea of why you feel it to be the best or worst.
So, who wants to begin?

I quite liked RE4s red PS2 cover.



Worst has to be RE Survivor. Pretty boring.

Alrighty, kind of agree that nothing special was going on with Resident Evil Survivor, but let's see what you make of my worst one. (There's totally nothing going on in this one, I assure you...)

The best cover art for anything Resident Evil in my opinion, is Resident Evil 3 Nemesis.



The worst cover in my opinion, sadly goes to Resident Evil (the remake version). An ace game, but the cover demanded more...even the PS1 cover and the Director's Cut cover got better than this!!

Forgot all about that Remake version. Its the one I have too. For arguably the best RE game ever they should have came up with better than that.

Yeah, I totally agree, because the remake game was what persuaded me to get the GameCube! Otherwise, I don't think I would of bothered with it.
But just seeing the old Resident Evil case for Europe on PlayStation, Saturn or PC just made me think Capcom didn't want to make such a big fuss...even though the game was epic! Especially for a GameCube game!

Same here bought a GameCube three years ago purely for Remake and Zero. Completed them and never played the GameCube ever again lol as my brother then got a WII which can play GameCube games so I just play it on there from now on.

Exactly, same as me. Although the GameCube did release a few surprises other than REmake and Zero, they also released Eternal Darkness, which was fantastic!
And then there was the remake to Metal Gear Solid called 'The Twin Snakes', that was pretty awesome too!
But yeah, rightly so, not enough games to keep me interested in the GameCube unfortunately. So my PS2 got absolutely hammered instead!

But to coincide with your special mentions for Outbreak and Revelations, I have to give special credit to the Revelations promo pre-order box that I have!
It was just an empty 3DS box with a Revelations poster inside that you recieved if you pre-ordered the game, but the holographic cover art was impressive!
Capcom should make these more often for retail games!

Same here, also the Revelations! I have that on my 3DS. I was big fan of classic games like Gaiden, Survivor and Dead Aim. Kinda obsessed with them.

Yeah me as well, I got fairly far on Gaiden too, but I stopped playing it and forgot where I needed to go after that.
As for Survivor, the 1st on the PS1 was better than the 2nd on PS2.
Dead Aim was awesome! Bruce McGovern and Agent Lin on a cruise ship...kind of reminded me of Gaiden, but a more up-to-date version. And it was even better playing it with the G-Con 2! I always had to exit out of shooting mode to run away because I crapped myself, HA!
As for the Outbreak games...they were a little difficult for me...
I could never give the right actions to make people follow me, or stay there...
I always messed up...so I gave up...

But Revelations is great! I've just done the bit where Rachel turns into a monster and you have to fight her...damn that was tough!
But it's no surprise she turned into a monster....her hair was over her face...she can't see anything!!

We're having the same problem playing Outbreaks, well after hours of playing I finally stopped bitching on it. But still, I won't take back my words. I thought Outbreak was worst of all. But ORC gets the first price. Hell yeah, Bruce McGovern. How Epic is that guy and the survivor. Love those classic awesome games.

Hehehe, yeah! Bruce McGovern was my new Resident Evil hero for about a year when I was in college! A cool guy too!
I remember that when I bought that game I was always on it!
It was a shame I didn't spend much more time on Survivor on PS1...I bought it at the same time as Resident Evil 3 Nemesis. So you can understand why I didn't play it much...
As for the Outbreak games...I just gave up, because I really couldn't do them.

As for ORC..I had to persuade myself to keep going with it.
It was a great ideato do...but there was so much wrong with it...which made it a horrible game to play!
I managed to finish it...but I wish it could of been better!

I think RE6 has the worst boxart.

haha i completed outbreak file number 1 it wasn't that hard actually. And Dead Aim was underrated that's for sure! It should come out for a hd release for ps3
