Resident Evil 6 Gold Edition will kick you in the nuts if you buy on launch!

On a slightly un-related note, wouldn't it be cool if they made RE6 on Wii-U... On another bigger un-related note, RE4 Wii-U edition?

Probably not Resident Evil 4 Wii U edition… that's pushing it. They already rereleased the game like 5 times. It's already on GameCube, PS2, PC, Mobile devices, Wii, 360, And PS3. It's on every platform imaginable, if you haven't played the game you haven't played the game.

Unfortunately, I will be purchasing this game on launch. I'm too excited for this game and if I wait for Gold, something or someone will ruin this story for me. My thoughts of Capcom haven't changed. However, I realize by purchasing this game, I am voting with my dollar and therefore am part of the problem. The least I can do is hold off from buying any DLC. However, if they released a mercs dlc pack that included Sheva, I'd buy it in a heartbeat Sad

Dude whatever, millions of people are going to buy the game at launch. If they release new characters for Mercs that's probably the only reason I'll consider getting DLC, otherwise, I can wait to just get their Gold edition.

It would be interesting to see though... Like using the game pad for the Inventory. In fact, that could work for any RE game if they were willing to add a bit more programming into it... Although we do have Zombie-U coming, so technically any RE game would take things from that.

And since I jumped in here not being on-topic, time to change that. I'm a sucker, I pre-ordered the game with the extra DLC map codes, so I'm ok there, and I'll be a sucker for the other content they throw out, and why? Because it brings more entertainment to the game.

So what if you have to pay extra for it, it's still an exciting, new addition to the game. Take Versus for example, that mode definitely made RE5 much more exciting.

Don't really have much else to say about this, Capcom, yes you do like to steal our money, but the content usually makes things much more exciting.

Remember when this was a thing? Had to dig quite a bit to find this thread again. It only took about 3,5 years but now there finally seems to be at least some kind of indication for a rerelease of RE6.

A rating for PS4/Xbone version of RE6 has been leaked. While this might end up being nothing it's still worth mentioning. If this does happen, I do wonder if it will be a "gold edition" with all the DLC on it. My guess is "probably", since the DLC won't be available through PS4's store, I'd guess.
