Well, I've got a friend who actually says he prefers the original Code Veronica without Wesker in it. Needless to say, an interesting discussion began.
Me, I have to say I prefer CVX. I just feel as if the story got a little bit more interesting once Wesker got involved.
What are your opinions?

Never even knew there was a difference apart from some extra cutscenes.

......Well, it would appear that I made a goof.
Apparently Wesker was in the original Dreamcast version. For some reason, I thought that he was only added into it when CVX was made.
I feel like an idiot now....

Even though it has a CV Original without Wesker in it, Ofcourse I still choose the CVX. Where did your friend heard that?

He played it a long time ago, so I think his memory misled him, which in turn misled me.

Was it good? I never imagined the CV without Wesker, I wonder how it looks like.

He said it was decent (But he also claims he got bored with it and sold it once he beat it). Plus, he's not the biggest RE fan out there. I mean , when he watched me play REmake, he got Jill and Claire confused
I'm considering buying a copy of the original CV, but since I don't have an actual Dreamcast console, I would have to play it using an emulator.

Haha, obviously he is not a fan, I just got curious that's why I ask, sure it's kinda boring cause Wesker isn't there. What? He finds Jill and Claire confusing? Is it only available on Dreamcast?

There's really no point in getting the original CV if you already have CVX aside from collectible purposes. It's the same exact game but with less content.

Yup. Only on DC.
Btw. Wesker IS there. Just not as much.

I never noticed too much of a difference. And I thought extra cutscenes weren't added until they released a 5 Year anniversary edition of CVX? I have CVX and the anniversary edition though it's been a bit since I've played them both all the way through. And I can't play the original as, well, we all should know by now what happened to my poor Dreamcast...

The cutscenes were in the first edition of CVX. The point of the whole game was to be a director's cut.

Ah ok I remembered reading the back and they were only mentioned in the 5 year anniversary one I had. Now I need to put Dead Space away and play that.

Apparently Steve's hair is a little different in CVX. The ending is better, too.

So, it was like CVX Director's cut. I'm not planning to get it cause I already had the CVX I guess that's enough

Yeah, I'm just getting it for collection purposes. Plus I would have something to play on my laptop when I don't have access to a console.

i think you might be getting confused about the Wesker thing, i think it was they added a extra cutscene when Claire meets Wesker and kinda gets her ass kicked
