Capcom knows that fans want a remake of RE2, not just reissue with HD graphics but an all out remake like REmake, but our pleads have so far fallen on deaf ears.

Yeah ok, but it was in progress I think. There were even in-game screens.

I do know it was in progress but it still was never released which is as good as it never existing in the first place. I don't think there ever was a demo for it either.
