Your favourite VG voice(over) actor/actress ?

Big part of game industry ! It can also be just certain character who had good voice actor/actress, in case you don't know real name etc.


My absolute favourite is Liam O'Brien who has given voice to ie.
Reynard Fisher (Resident Evil 5), Various (Biohazard Outbreak: File 2), Various (Biohazard: The Darkside Chronicles)
Caius Ballad (Final Fantasy XIII-2), Illidan Stormrage (WoW)
Sanctus (DMC 4), Asura (Asura's Wrath), Hob (Fable III)
and so many many MANY more !

Can't find any good vids of his voice.

lol I had to look some of the names up to make sure I spelled them right and a couple slipped my mind, but I usually remember by the anime or game they were in

I love him as Gaara (NARUTO).

When I watched Naruto a couple of years ago (I think) it was in Japanese.

/e: He sounds a bit lower, a bit deeper than Caius as Gaara. Not better tho imo.. :/

I used to watch them online so they had jap voice and english subtitles.. ^_^
Dunno why but I couldn't stand any anime with english dub.

It depends for me. Sometimes I prefer the Japanese version, but most of the time I prefer the English dub.
For instants, Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler) I prefer the Japanese to the English dub. It is just so much better!
The tones of the voices fit the characters better.

Top-5, starting from my favorite:

Tara Strong (Harley Quinn in Arkham City, X-23 in MvC3, Rachel in NG, Twilight Sparkle in MLP:FiM, Kylie in Xtreme Ghostbusters, the list goes on)

Kyle Hebert (Odie in Soul Nomad, Ruy in SFxTekken/MvC3/SFIV, various voices in Degeneration, characters like Kiba and Shikamaru in Naruto)

Matt Mercer (Stryker in MK, Keiji in Sengoku Basara 3, Fei-Long in SSFIV, Dan Hibiki in SF High short film)

Erik Davies (Hazama in BlazBlue, Cid in FFXIII, Azuma in GitS Innocence)

Patrick Seitz (Ragna the Bloodedge in BlazBlue, Scorpion in MK, Lord Median in Soul Nomad, Motochika Chosokabe in Sengoku Basara 3)

I like Nolan North (Nathan Drake, Desmond Miles, and a LOT more).

My all-time favourite is Roger Jackson.He's the VA of Ghostface,the murderer in the Scream movies.
He voiced the Cheshire cat in American McGee's Alice and in the sequel Alice Madness Returns(+ the Jabberwock and the Dormouse).



Also Bates in Clock Tower 2: The Struggle Within.

The guy who voices Harper from Black Ops 2 campaign. He's also the one in the walking dead.

Nolan North is great. Deadpool ftw!

Nolan North and Roger Craig Smith are solid voice actors. Love their work.

Roger Craig Smith most definitely. None of the voices behind RE characters sound so realistic as his, he was brilliant in re5, but he really deserves an Voice Over Oscar (if there's something like that) for his performance in RE 6. Its extremely tough to play drama either in front of camera or on the theater stage, but he did all that behind the microphone, with only one weapon - his voice. Simply imagine how tough it is to deliver the dramatic emotion only with the voice. Simply ass kicking. As for the second favorite ( I know spike will hate it ) is DC Douglas, Guy that sounds like superheros boss!!!

OMG you like Roger Jackson too! I think he played Mojo-Jojo in the Powerpuff Girls as well. I always loved his performance in the Scream films. Although I think he dropped the ball in Scream 4. Don't know if it's because he's gotten older, but he didn't sound quite the same.

The beginning of Scream with him and Drew Barrymore is still the coolest scariest scene in all of cinema.

Oh yes, I think he was in a movie called Hackers, with Angelina Jolie actually too. There was a voice over the phone(of course) at one point, and I swear it sounded like him. I don't recall seeing his name in the credits though.

I found his lines in the Scream movies pretty fun too.

Sarah Michelle Gellar: "Ted are you drunk again?"

Ghostface: "Who's Ted?"

SMG: "Oh sorry, I thought you were someone else."

Ghostface: "That's okay, I am."

I wonder if he voiced Ghostface in Scary Movie?

I also want to see that Paranormal Activity Parody coming out with Marlon Wayans, from the Wayans bros.
